I use this NEEWER 71”/180cm parabolic reflective umbrella for almost all my shoots and it gives excellent bounce. With the diffuser, the light is soft and beautiful every time. Very versatile and high quality—definitely a must-have for any photographer!

Turns out this thing was actually too big for what we needed it for (actor headshots) but it does what is advertised. It's big, the fabric diffuses the light nicely, and feels relatively durable for the price. Competitors could come in at hundreds of dollars. If you just need a large diffusion umbrella in a pinch, this will work just fine. Durability will probably be an issue if you are using it for a heavy professional environment where gear gets moved all the time. Keep in mind that as the diffusion or reflective surface gets larger, you will need a more powerful light. My Godox 60w light is almost too weak to make the most of this umbrella.

I recently added the NEEWER 71-inch (180cm) Parabolic Reflective Umbrella to my lighting kit, and it has absolutely elevated the quality of my portrait and video work. For photographers and videographers looking to achieve beautifully soft, wrapping light, this modifier is a game-changer.

I think this has become my new fav modifer for both still photography and motion picture filmmaking applications. I use this to achieve a soft quality of light for interview setups and also when I'm doing studio portrait jobs. Great for headshots! Very versatile modifer. I love the size as well. It's huge enough to get you a big soft source but also isn't that deep like a traditional softbox that takes up more depth in your space. The carrying bag could have been made with a higher quality material though and a little more space for the diffusion rag itself. It also has a weird odor so I think the diffusion may need to be washed to get rid of that smell. All in all it's a great product and I'm loving it!

Lo compré para darle un salto a mis sesiones en estudio, y madre mía… la luz que saca este paraguas no tiene nada que ver con los típicos. El diseño parabólico reparte la luz de forma mucho más envolvente, con transiciones suaves y ese look editorial que a veces cuesta conseguir sin gastar un dineral. Refleja muy bien, sin perder potencia, y no genera sombras duras ni brillos feos. Es ligero pero resistente, se monta en dos segundos, y para retrato va de cine. Lo uso con flash Godox y también con LED, y se comporta genial. ✅ Pros: luz muy suave y profesional, fácil de montar, excelente relación calidad/precio. ❌ Contras: no viene con funda, y por su tamaño, necesitas espacio para guardarlo sin doblarlo mal. 📌 Si buscas una luz que te suba el nivel sin vaciar la cartera, este paraguas es un sí rotundo.
