First of all it's a GREAT gift to any kid in this world. Your own kids, your friend's kid or may be for your kins too. Nothing better than a reality when comes to a kid, they can see the various birds, animals live on your iPad, tablets and even on mobile devices. What's in the packet:- -------------------------------- A number of deck of cards, a white color good quality carry bag, a very cute little mobile/tablet stand. The whole box is of very very good quality, very sturdy and equally the cards are. They will be with you for years. This Shifu supports iOS and Android devices. Before I bought this even I was not well aware about the way it works, it's easy and it's fun :D Now what you need to let your kid enjoy this Augmented reality learning toy:- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- You need Shifu app either on your iOS or Android device. you can get the app in the respective store like app store for iOS anf play store for android. 2- Now you need these cards deck from Shifu. Just these two things and you are good to go. The learning curve like how to use this is too little, you can get your hands on it in less than a minute I hope. Now how you play with it:- -------------------------------------------- 1- After you install the app it's easy to configure. You will also receive a QR code that you need to scan using Shifu app. The code is inside the box flap. 2- The app has screen which shows you the frame within which you need to keep the card , lay the card down and be sure it's within the line of your mobile's rear camera. 3- As the app detect the card it popup the live 3D animal with a sound on the screen. 4- As you remove the card from the camera frame the app shows you the creature's habitat, where it live, its movements. It's a real fun for kids. You may see more in the pictures. Now the kids have opportunity to feed the creatures, learn about them like what food they eat, what sort of habitat they live in, spelling game related to the creature. One thing is for sure not the kids will play with it but they will learn a lot from this app and cards. The BEST part is kids can interact with creatures by touching the screen. The box has total 60 creature cards from Ant to Dinosaurs. I'm sure the kids will love even the cute creature printed on the cards :) You can have more fun if you are using tablet instead of a mobile, simply means a larger screen would show the whole thing much better and it's always love to watch on big screens. Like if you have iPad which we know equipped with a decent hardware show you everything much smoother. And similar for the Good brands Tablet devices. Like I've a 5" inch HTC One M9 which shows everything tiny :D but One M9 is equipped with a good hardware so it doesn't lag. The pics I've uploaded for reference here is using my wife's HTC Desire 828 just because it has a slight 5.5" bigger screen than mine. But iPad or Tablet users will enjoy more :) a larger real estate will shows more and cleaner. Remember devices with higher specs run it more smooth. Using it few minutes however it makes my device quite warmer and it's natural when playing with apps like having augmented reality and VR apps. Built quality is good but nor much to do . Didn't attract my 4 year old son much .. he loves to play but for 10-15 mins only . Need to make it more like fun game with knowledge .

This is a great gift If you are looking for a nice, useful and educational toy for any child. I bought this for my son when he was 1.5 and he has been in love with it. The game has an augmented reality and the animals come alive on the screen of your device. The app has to be downloaded from the App Store once and then you can play the game offline. You place the animal cards in front of the camera and the animal comes alive. My son learnt how to place the animals. You can listen to their sound, feed them their food choices. Learn the spelling of the name. Learn about the habitat and all this in an interesting way. If I say My son loves it , it is an understatement. He has learnt all the animals. I would strongly vote for this for your child or any child.

Shifu Safari is one of the best Educational Game investment I have done for my kids. It is a great way for kids to learn concepts in a fun way. My daughters are totally in love with the game. And it is the best way to divers screen time from TV / Cartoons to something constructive. My daughters are just 2.5 years old but already know names of so many animals, what they eat & how they sound. A great purchase.

Product is good but 3 cards did not work (Shark, Dolphin and Whale).... Can I get these 3 cards replaced???

Bought it for my nephew as it looked like a really interesting game! The quality of the cards, stand, pouch is very good. The best part is when the 3d animal comes on screen and makes the sound on touch. My nephew enjoys a lot. Popping the balloons to learn the spelling is a very good feature. Makes an awesome gift.

I gifted to my 4 yr old niece as i liked this about the game that it is fun and educational too. she gets excited everytime a animal comes on mobile screen and learns spellings of each animal too. worth it and value for money!!!!
