So this actually was a bigger project than I thought it would be, and my partner helped me a lot, but I’m very pleased with how it turned out! The roof and floor we wood stained and I bought the fake succulents at Target as they were not included. I’m not sure I’d by this for a child younger than middle or highs school age, it personally felt like an adult craft.

Love the fact that its modern and fun to build. Cant wait to finish it and put it outdoor and get some visitors. Great price.

This house turned out beautiful despite the horribly vague directions provided & glue that took forever to set. The glue stated it sets in 1 hour but 4++ hours later everything glued down was still fully movable. Throw that glue away & buy epoxy to use instead.I’d encourage you to dry fit all pieces so you know what side of the chimney to put stones on (I didn’t & had to buy a new piece of wood & redo it…opps).The little plant frames are very shallow so I’d use fake succulents or real air plants to fill them.When pounding in the pegs in the front of the house, make sure you support the block really well or it can break the front in half.Overall, this project takes a long time to paint & glue but it does turn out to be a pretty cool house.

It was a fun project on a rainy weekend without having to pull out my table saw or spend time shopping for things.

We got this birdhouse kit for our 11-year-old grandson and he loved it. The wood is very nice quality and all of the materials and tools needed to build it are included.The style of the birdhouse is somewhat unique, especially having mini-planters on the roof and real stone covered walls. Glue is included to attach the stones to the walls. The house has one clear plastic wall on the side of the cavity where birds nest, and a hinged panel on the opposite side that allows for easy cleaning of the nest interior.This is not a birdhouse that you would typically hang on a rope or chain. You could screw it onto a fairly level branch, or, as in our case, mount it on a post.Overall we were impressed with the quality and design of the birdhouse and our grandson had fun building it.

I got this for my father in law. He has arthritis in his hands and needed something to keep his hands moving and limber. This worked great for him. He has fat fingers and we both laughed when he went to glue the rocks on the board but he enjoyed himself with this project.

The instructions were great. It did take a couple hours to put together, but I decided to paint first then assemble.The paint will do just shy of 2 coats on the roof and bottom.Plenty to do the smaller pieces.The silicone glue gets stringy, seems to hold only time will tell though.It seems solid, the screws hold tight.Amazingly they send ALL of what you need to put it together. All the screws, dowels and the Allen Wrench.There is plenty of rocks if you wanted to put them on the floor or . . . .This is a cute design, enjoy the family time.
