Nintendo 2Ds With New Super Mario Bros. 2 (Game Pre-Installed) - 2Ds Wireless 32 Gb Video Game Console

As someone who had chances to try both the new 3DS, the new 3DS XL I can say the following about the 2DS, hopefully some of which you don' usually find in other reviews. (obviously still subjective)Starting with the negatives:- It's a bit more top heavy than I expected it to be- the L R button placement on the top and overall design is troublesome.- its sides are sharper than the new 3DS models.- naturally my hands want to hold the console closer to the bottom with my index fingers on the back, but the factors mentioned above makes you hold it closer to the center with your index fingers staying upright. This combined with the sharper sides can might make this device a bit more strenuous to hold for some peopleSome if not all of these negative aspects might be solvable with a the right case/cover/mod. I would've liked to try PDP's trigger grips, but these are either too hard to find or are too expansive.- While I don't use stereoscopic 3D most of the time, at rare times it wished I could turn it on to see the effect.As for the positives:+ The plastic feels good to the touch, it didn't evoke feelings of cheapness for me.+ The screen looks great, the colors and lighting are very good.+ The smaller screen doesn't bother me at all, the difference from the (regular) new 3DS is very minor and I usually prefer the smaller screen for its sharpness.+ The lack of support of "new 3DS only" games is not missed at all for me. It might be worth it for Xenoblade chronicles 3D, but other than that there are barely any games where it's worth it (Also, xenoblade is available to other consoles and is planned for release on the Switch)+ also the loading times and battery life both felt fine (didn't test for exact numbers)+ easy access to the SD card nice+ being a single piece means you don't have to suffer from the top screen wobbling as you play!My biggest gripe is that it's not as comfortable to hold as I expected it to be, which is mostly due to the L R placement, but it is still comfortable enough and it's a good deal for its price.

I really like this version of the 3DS! With the 2DS being a cost reduced version of the 3DS, it's the perfect way to get into the 3DS family on a budget!The biggest difference of this 2DS is that it uses a flat design rather than a folding design like all of the other Ds's. You might think this is awkward at first, but I find it very comfortable compared to the original 3DS.The fact that this one comes with NSMB2 is great! That game gives you a small buffer while you either start building your new library or while you call Nintendo support to get your old Nintendo ID to work with it. (I did have to call Nintendo for that. It took some time, but I have my entire digital library back!)TL:DR I highly recommend this 2DS because it is a very affordable 3DS system, it comes with a game and the form factor is not as awkward as it looks

This got so much use and was a big hit as a gift for a grandson. It worked well until a fateful fall from a table, but even then he continued to play with it with a broken screen.

I order mine new..it looks new and everything works right.. but there something rattling inside and the b button is a little loose.. and maybe I'm worng but the charge port looks slightly bent ... over all it works ..

The media could not be loaded.  Nintendo 2DsCon este sistema puedes jugar juegos del nintendo 3Ds, es una ventaja además no es de tercera dimensión, cosa que yo valoró, pues en 3ra dimensión me lástima la vista. Lo único qué no me pareció es la batería no dura mucho. Casi 2 horas.... Pero en general está muy bien para disfrutar esos ratos libres. Claro qué lo recomiendo....

Start button does not work, otherwise good

This was a good Christmas gift for my 7-year-old daughter. Cheap, durable and easy to play. Father & daughter both loved it. This is a good first Nintendo for trial and once kids get a hang of it, parents can upgrade to higher versions.

Did NOT come with the pre-installed game as described !!! Very upsetting!!! my daughter was so excited!!!! smh you had one job... Was to send the correct product with installed game listed. You had the box correct but no Super Mario Bros 2. This is not what I bought.

Pagas lo que recibes. Sin duda es inferior a un new 3ds, pero corresponde correctamente con el precio. Aún así con éste podrás jugar al 99% de los juegos de ds y 3ds, una librería de miles de títulos y de varios cientos excelentes. Lo recomiendo ampliamente para niños descuidados que tercamente quieren uno, dado que al ser la versión más barata, dolerá menos si lo rompen

Ton of fun. Gets used all the time. Battery life is good and games work well.

Timely arrival, not too happy that it didn't come with the operations manual but other than that I'm loving it so far
