I used to play this game as a kid with it was originally released by Hasbro. The new release by Renegade takes me right back to my youth, only now I have two kids of my own to introduce the game to.This game is a great back and forth struggle with some classic "take that" elements. The components are well made and you can surprise other first time players by turning off the light: The pieces glow in the dark! It's a cool feature retained from the original release and I'm glad they kept in this version.It's wonderful to be able to share the games I loved playing as a kid with my own family now.

I honestly bought it because of the character graphics and the glow in the dark factor to play with a black light. But I was surprised to open it up and find that it’s a game I really enjoy. Looking it up online it’s a combination of past versions with a few fixes making a great all-rounder and best hits type of release. Play is simple and easy to get into. Fighting over the raised central location is fun for our table. I wouldn’t mind more of these game mechanics in another skin or possibly these creatures shifted to another style of game as well.

A classic game of area control, mixed with some fun twists. Exploration, interesting unit mechanisms, fun card play. I've played all three versions of this game, and this one is the best. Love the 3D monolith and the black-light glow figures. Recommended for anyone that loves a good dice chucking game.
