Bought on sale and what a bargain! Easy perfect waffles - super simple design and function. Stores great in small kitchen.Easy to clean, quality seems good for price.

I searched all through the various waffle makers and decided to try this one.I'm glad I did. It is simple to use and simple to clean. Do not use cooking spray as advised in the instructions. I tried a little oil, applied with a silicon brush and tried making waffles without.There is no need to use anything as the ceramic coating is pretty non-stick on its own.There is no temperature control. Just watch for the amount of steam created and and get used to the desired doneness from there. No steam makes about the right doneness.I make waffle batter in two cup amounts. It makes two 1 cup waffles...One for today and one for toasting later.And I do like the 'fold up' feature for convenient, space saving storage.

Another reviewer mentioned this was a no thrills appliance and I agree. No temperature adjust, no on/off, very short cord, slightly wobbly when in upright locked position. . . but it works well.Love the plum colour. The size is great for storing if you do not have a lot of space.Our waffles came out perfect. Nothing burnt, no sticking, just fully cooked delicious waffles.

So glad I went with this particular waffle maker, easy to clean, great size, looks fine on the countertop, matches my other appliances, easy to use. Delivers a good size ( adult size ? A whole size waffle. Also; the cook time is fast! I prefer my waffles crispy on the edges and add walnuts to my batter , first time I used too much batter and it felt like it took forever to get crisp edges. Used less batter afterwards and still felt the a single waffle made with less batter was just as substantial and filling as the first and much faster to cook. Def recommend playing around with that to discover your desired preference

I had to get a new waffle iron and I decided on this one because I have a very small kitchen. It stores in a small space but it makes a good size waffle. I used it for the first time tonight for Belgian waffles and it worked great. It heats up quickly and cooks quickly. Hubby loved the waffles and it cooked them perfectly. We love to have waffles for supper now and then with sausage links and strawberries. Perfect.

In short, a solid waffle cooker that's great for storage and moderate use. The ceramic plates were a major selling point for me too over Teflon coated. However, it's pretty slow to cook and heat level is not variable - I wish the default was a bit hotter. For occasional to moderate use in a 2 person household it's fine - but if you're serving up multiple kids on busy mornings you'll want to pass and look for a better faster model. It's fairly easy to clean (wipe down with a damp paper towel or rag), but doesn't have removable plates. A light changes color to indicate when it's up to temperature, then also indicates when to flip and again when the waffle is done (generic timer I believe). Waffles come out a nice thickness (you flip the unit which helps make them fluffy and thick), but it's hard to get a golden or crunchy exterior unless you go well beyond the default cooking time. Perfect if you love soft waffles. As advertised it does nicely lock into upright standing position to save storage space - I wish the cord holder was better and came with an anchor at the end of the cord. If shopping again, I'd probably go for a different unit.
