It's Midori. We all love Midori. It was delivered with surprisingly no packaging, like no box to keep it clean except for a delicate plastic wrapping. Maybe that's why it had a black dirty stain at the top...which I can ignore, but I wish it came with better packaging.

The quality of the cover and paper is the best I’ve ever seen in any notebook

These notebooks always feel really premium to me, the paper is honestly my favourite and I've bought other MD Paper products because of this, it's a bit on the thin and light side, but doesn't bleed through with fountain pens. The notebook can lay perfectly flat, which is a massive plus. It's not the kind of notebook where you would want to tear pages out, and it would be quite difficult to do so as well, but if that's not an issue then I recommend these notebooks, both for writing with pen or sketching with pencil.
