Well-made, clean-looking stand.
I actually use this for lights (Elgato Key Light Air.) Unfortunately, when it screws on, the bolt is in the way and won’t allow for me to point the lights at a downward angle; of course, this is not the fault of the stand since it’s not meant for it. (One of my Elgato lights had broke from its stand; basically the plastic piece that the pole screws into, broke off. There’s no replacement piece offered by Elgato—I know this because I called them.) Otherwise, this is an overall sturdy stand, considering it’s so thin. But because it’s thin and only connected to the base by just a screw, it can probably also break easily, like my Elgato light stand did. It shouldn’t be moved around often to avoid mishandling. Definitely keep it stationary. The aesthetic of the stand provides a clean, modern look, just as the pictures suggest. It’s easy to setup and use. Everything about this stand is straightforward; there’s nothing you’d expect out of the ordinary.I’m happy to own this and have an alternative stand to use for my light. Recommended if you’re looking for a simple stand and enjoy the very clean look (not a ton of screws like other adjustable stands) of it.

It does what it is made for!
The construction is good enough for its intended purpose. The glass base acts well as a weight for small VR light towers. I’m not a fan of how the base attaches to the main shaft as it is basically wedging together metal on glass. Make sure to NOT overtighten this or the glass will shatter. If there were a soft mating surface, such as a couple pieces of rubber or o-rings, it would feel better secured without having a risk of destroying the glass base. Overall, I think this is OK and it does work well for VR light towers.

The base glass is tacky....
It is very functional.I have tripods and I have been using them for my cameras... but i need them for shoots and so I got these to get my wife's vr setup without them. Its in the living room and it looks, rough. The glass bases look pretty ugly. If you are using glass and black a lot in your space it doesn't matter but we do not. It very much looks industrial with exposed silver washers and wing nuts on the top to secure the cameras. The stickers also really stick to the post and required me to clean the base with soapy water. The instructions were good and went together in around 10 minutes.

using this with my Quest headset is pretty good, but it can also be used for...
Nice quality, bottom-heavy, round base, microphone-type stand. If you have ever been around a microphone stand, or I guess a 5-pound weight, "not 5 pounds" just a size comparison, the height is adjustable via a screw-in attachment pipe system. The male end to attach your speakers and such is the same as the camera, microphone, camera lights for studio selfie filming, and such, you could also use one or more of these, as light stands, Mic stands or even camera stands. but they do the job well at what they were made for, the other uses are just icing on the cake, these are worth it 100%, especially if you have the room for your VR area because it's about 6 ft. I would say. This also has a very re-useable box it comes in to store it, the shipping was very nice. very much worth it if you have the disposable income

Great low-profile option
We wanted to upgrade our base stations from the tripod-style ones that take up a lot of space. These come with a solid pair of glass bases and a nice low-profile pole that keep the room looking decent. The weight of the glass does a great job of keeping things upright and the relatively small footprint makes them easy to keep in tight corners, out of the way of the play area.

Great for non-permanent VR boxes
I end up putting my VR base stations on bookshelves or desks because where I want the VR "area" to be changes enough to where I can't mount them to walls. This has solved a problem I've had where, oftentimes, there's no good place to put them - now I can just leave them on the mounts and bring them out when we want to play something. Nice solution.

Great stands for valve index base stations
These mount stands are excellent for a setup where hanging a base station on the wall isn’t an option. I’ve run into situations where I can hand a base station on one or two walls but not three. This is where using one of these stands is the way to go. The base is stable and the base station won’t fall over if knocked into by accident.
