I bought this meter to test a second reservoir I keep at another property so I don't have to remember my meter each time. My other meter is a very expensive unit so I thought I'd get a less expensive alternative this time. Well, I'm impressed! Once calibrated (was super simple to do- YINMIK makes pre-mixed solutions), it is just as accurate as my fancy meter. And I really like that it shows EC and pH sat the same time on the same screen. That is slick. I'm now looking at other YINMIK products and will try them out when I need new instruments! Nice job, YINMIK!

There's a lot to like, and I expect it will be reliable for some time. I like that you can replace the probe, although I haven't looked into availability. It takes four button batteries (included), so I hope I don't have to change them often.The biggest drawback I've found so far is partly due to inadequate instructions, and partly design. If you're a knucklehead like me you'll think the tester is bad until you figure this out. I wasn't sure what the "HOLD" function was. The instructions talk about switching it but since it seemed to be on sometimes and off sometimes, I thought it was supposed to indicate that a measurement had stabilized. Now I know it's simply for the user to lock the screen, which is quite handy. The problem is you press the power button to lock/unlock the measurement -- but you also tap it when the screen dims. Since the screen dims pretty quickly, I'm always tapping it right before taking a measurement, and that activates the HOLD prematurely, and screws up the measurement. Now I know, and I'm getting good measurements (after testing and calibrating). I press the button twice, once to activate the screen, and once to unlock. No biggie, but kind of awkward.They printed up nice instructions with good illustrations, and I like the plastic coating so they hold up around water. I just don't understand how so many companies fail to proofread instructions and edit for clarity. These are not the worst; you can figure out most things. But they definitely could have been more thoughtful. For example, they warn you not to touch the bulb or "wipe" it, but you have to wash and dry it before each measurement. They don't suggest how, or with what material. It would have been nice for them to include some sample drying fabric. One more example: Deep into the instructions they mention the unit was calibrated before shipment for EC/TDS, but nowhere do they state that the pH was pre-calibrated. (I can't be sure if it was accurate before calibrating since I was still having trouble with the "HOLD" feature" while doing my initial measurements of distilled water.) Another design element I don't like is that it takes a full five-second press to turn off.All in all, I'm happy to have it, I think I can trust it, and the functions are mostly user-friendly. I would just suggest that companies who invest so much in packaging a product should not skip the extra expense of hiring a competent technical editor, especially when the instructions are such an important feature of the product.

I found the directions clear and easy to understand, and was able to get the thing up and running quickly.Calibration is handled in the same way as other testers I have used, with an added tip in the instructions: once you mix up the test solution, only use a little of it to run the test and leave the remainder in the sealed jar for later calibrations.They include two sets of the calibration powder; I should be set for a while.

This makes testing pH levels super fast and easy - no color matching requiredThat being said, there are a lot of functions on this that require you to 'hold' a button for so long. Now, this could be user error that both my husband and myself made the same mistake, but in my experience when something tells you to hold a button, after the needed time has passed, it will just proceed with what it was supposed to do (whether that's turning off, moving to a new screen, etc)Not the case hereIf it tells you to hold, it's hold and RELEASE and so long. It's a minor oversight, but it is great at making you feel like an idiot when you're holding the power button for 15 seconds and nothing happens

I have been a hydroponic gardener for quite some time and I've always had separate pH and EC meters. This is my first combo unit dedicated to hydroponics and I am very impressed. The build quality is excellent with a nice tight gasket protecting the battery compartment.The display is easy to read and quickly stabilizes when the problem is inserted into nutrient solution. It is very convenient having pH and EC in one probe.Definitely would buy this again.

Finally got a chance to test/use this :) It works quite well, and is easy to use. I tested against some pH strips we have, and it was quite accurate. It'll be quite helpful when we get our set up rolling. Easy to use and a good value.

I am measuring some surface water in a nearby riparian region. This seems to work fine, but I would prefer that it had a more robust calibration procedure.

Ce testeur de qualité de l’eau est parfait pour ma piscine : son écran se divise en 2, partie haute l’EC et le TDS, partie basse, le PH et la température. Le testeur est livré avec ses piles, 4 sachets de poudre permettant de fabriquer 2x 250ml se liquide d’étalonnage pour le PH, sur les 3 valeurs de référence : 4, 7 et 10 mais aucune solution d’étalonnage pour l’EC et le TDS (l’appareil est en principe étalonné en usine et semble ne pas se dérégler). Je l’ai testé en comparant les résultats avec ceux d’un autre appareil, après étalonnage de la sonde PH et les résultats sont similaires, parfaitement suffisants pour une piscine. Je suis simplement un peu étonné qu’il n’y ait pas de petite éponge au fond du bouchon pour maintenir la sonde PH humide. En tous cas, même après rinçage, je ne la touche pas, je secoue un peu l’appareil pour éliminer les goutes de liquide qui auraient pu s’accumuler sur la sonde.

Aber am Ende zählt aber die Funktionstüchtigkeit des Messgeräts.Das Gerät misst die Leitfähigkeit von Flüssigkeiten und den pH-Wert wässriger Lösungen. Beide Werte zu trennen ist gar nicht so einfach. pH misst die Konzentration von H+ Ionen (je kleiner die Zahl, desto größer die Konzentration), die Leitfähigkeit die von allen anderen Ionen, einschließlich H+. Eine Zugabe einer Säure erhöht die H+ Konzentration. Damit sinkt der pH-Wert, ebenso steigt die Leitfähigkeit. Hingegen bleibt der pH-Wert unverändert, löst man Salze in Wasser.Während die Leitfähigkeit leicht zu messen ist, fehlt für die H+ Bestimmung der Bezugspunkt. Beispielsweise zeigt das Gerät nach dem Einschalten einen pH-Wert von 7.9 für Leitungswasser an. Eine Korrektur um 0.9 für andere Flüssigkeiten genügt nicht, da das Verhältnis unbestimmt ist. Für diesen Zweck liegen der Verpackung Testpulver bei. Im richtigen Verhältnis mit destilliertem Wasser gemischt, ergeben sie Lösungen mit einem neutralen pH-Wert (Pufferlösung), einem pH Wert von 4.0 und 10.0. Die Temperatur sollte bei 20 Grd liegen. Abweichungen verursachen einen Fehler von 0.01 -- unkritisch, da die Auflösung des Geräts mit 0.1 angegeben wird. Nacheinander wird der Messfühler in die Eichlösungen getaucht. Bei jedem Schritt wird bestätigt, dass der pH-Wert der Eichlösung 7, 4 oder 10 beträgt. Hier hätte man sich mehr Freiheiten gewünscht, um den erwarteten und tatsächlichen pH-Wert einstellen zu können. Im Handel findet man pH-Eichlösungen, die von diesen Werten abweichen und hier nicht zum Einsatz kommen können. Die Eichung der Leitfähigkeit sieht die Option vor, den vorgefundenen Wert einzustellen.Den Tipp, die Eichlösungen für spätere Nacheichungen aufzubewahren, sollte man mit Zurückhaltung befolgen. Die Lösungen wirken ätzend und müssen sicher verschlossen werden in einem Gefäß, das nicht von ihnen angegriffen wird. Bei einem professionellen Einsatz sollte man mit fertigen Kalibrierlösungen arbeiten, statt Lösungen selbst aus Pulver anzusetzen.Die pH-Sonde ist sehr empfindlich. Auch hier gilt zu überlegen, in welcher Umgebung sie gelagert wird. Laut Anleitung ist der Messkopf austauschbar.Für einfache Experimente eignet sich das Gerät aus dem Stand. Testproben sind: (1) Leitungswasser, (2) Leitungswasser + Essig, (3) Leitungswasser + Kochsalz, (4) Regenwasser, (5) Regenwasser mit verschiedenen Seifenputzmitteln. Messung (1) ist der Fixpunkt für eine neutrale Lösung. Der pH-Wert einer Säure (2) liegt unterhalb der Messung (1). Gleichzeitig steigt die Leitfähigkeit. Messung (3) zeigt den gleichen pH-Wert wie (1), aber eine höhere Leitfähigkeit. Ist man großzügig mit der Salzzugabe, wechselt der Messbereich von micro-Siemens/Zentimeter auf milli-Siemens/Zentimeter. Während die Leitfähigkeit von Leitungswasser im Bereich von 0.5 mS/cm liegt, leitet Regenwasser (4) den Strom mit 0.05 mS/cm um eine Größenordnung schlechter. Der pH-Wert sollte mit dem von Leitungswasser (1) übereinstimmen. Viele Seifen sind pH-neutral, manche Putzmittel (5) aber nicht und erhöhen den pH-Wert gegenüber von (1).Das Gerät misst ziemlich genau bei der Bestimmung der Leitfähigkeit, auch ohne Eichung. Strenggenommen muss vor jeder Messung des pH-Werts eine Eichung vorgenommen werden. Nur in diesem Fall erreicht man eine Auflösung des pH-Werts von +-0.1. Reichen qualitative Aussagen, genügt ein Vergleich mit Leitungswasser.Für einen professionellen Einsatz würde man sich eine Stromversorgung mit richtigen Batterien wünschen, ebenso die freie Wahl der pH-Eichlösungen.

📅 Prodotto acquistato il 23/09/2024💸 Al prezzo di vendita di 39.99€Un misuratore 4 in 1 della Yinmik a mio giudizio non piú che discreto a causa della misurazione (piú che altro della calibrazione) del PH.Purtroppo, infatti, la calibrazione risulta quantomeno scomoda in quanto vengono fornite le polveri (e non la soluzione pronta) per poi effettuare, dopo apposita preparazione manuale, la calibrazione.Le polveri vanno diluite in una quantità di 250 ml di acqua distillata e poi può avvenire la calibrazione in una maniera assolutamente poco affidabile e complicata per i neofiti.Il tester avrebbe avuto, da me, ben altro giudizio se fosse stata fornita una soluzione pronta e, soprattutto, se si riusciva a regolare manualmente (con una vite da regolare appunto) come molti altri strumenti simili presi da me in passato.La procedura (piú o meno automatizzata) spesso deve essere ripetuta in quanto il tester, in modalità calibrazione, memorizza per le 3 misurazioni, valori completamente diversi.Per essere piú chiari: preparo la soluzione con PH 7 e il tester va in modalità calibrazione per PH 4 o PH 10 memorizzando la soluzione preparata con il valore, appunto 4 o 10.Questo mi è capitato per tutte e 3 le misurazioni dovendo ogni volta ripetere la procedura.Consiglio: preparate tutte e 3 le soluzioni e lasciatele tutte e 3 pronte.Ripetete la calibrazione ogni volta che viene salvata dal tester quella sbagliata e, con un po' di pazienza, alla fine, avrete il risultato voluto e corretto.Tralasciamo il PH.Misurazione di EC (Electrical Conductivity (Conduttività Elettrica)) affidabile e testata con altro strumento tarato da me con apposita soluzione corretta.Il TDS (Total Dissolved Solids (Solidi Totali Disciolti)) anch'esso corretto (il TDS è semplicemente un calcolo derivato direttamente dall'EC con una formula matematica).Temperatura anch'essa testata e corretta.Queste le 4 misurazioni che questo tester (grandicello come dimensioni rispetto ad altri avuti in passato) può effettuare.Alimentato da 4 batterie AG13 (LR44) incluse.Abbastanza confuse le istruzioni in italiano (ma e' anche dovuto alla complessità della calibrazione).Con una calibrazione piú semplice e piú precisa avrebbe meritato un giudizio sicuramente piú lusinghiero).Spero che la recensione e gli allegati siano stati utili al vostro eventuale acquisto... alla prossima!!

Tengo una piscina donde el control de PH se autoregula mediante el sistema de filtrado. Después de cuatro años de uso, el instalador me dijo que con el tiempo la medición de PH que lleva el sistema, empieza a fallar y que es recomendable regularlo cada cierto tiempo para que los niveles sean siempre óptimos.Me salió la oportunidad de adquirir este medidor de PH, que en principio es más preciso que el que lleva la piscina y así poder calibrarlo. También mide la temperatura del agua y otras cosas como las partículas en suspensión, pero no me va a hacer falta.En cuanto llegó hice la comprobación. El monitor de la piscina mostraba que el PH era de 7.2 y estaba programado para mantuviese esos niveles pero al comprobar el agua de la piscina directamente con este medidor de PH me arrojó un resultado de PH de 6.6. Muy por debajo de lo que sería aconsejable, de lo que deduje que, efectivamente, el medidor del sistema de filtrado se había descompensado.Una vez conocido el desfase, solo tuve que reprogramar el regulador de PH de la piscina, colocándolo en 7.8, para que en realidad el agua de la piscina volviera a ser de 7.2, que es el idóneo.Viene con las baterías incluidas, son 4 pilas tipo botón y desconozco cuanto durarán, en principio no voy a estar midiendo el PH todos los días.Es totalmente impermeable y la pantalla, retroiluminada, muestra la información con dígitos lo suficientemente grandes para verlos sin problema.Trae unos sobres con un producto para poder recalibrar el medidor, hasta en 2 ocasiones.Como contra únicamente pondría el sistema de alimentación, que funciona con 4 pilas tipo botón, de esas que nunca tenemos en casa, pero bueno, quizás le duren muchos años.
