Awesome bass and set for the price.
Excellent 1st time bass. Great strings, stays tuned and holds a tune. Amplifier that comes with it does the job. Crackles alil but has a great sound. Definitely worth the buy for anyone looking to learn. Value for money: If your unsure but want to try, buy this bass and the set. I love it!

Great value for my needs!
I ordered the matte black flame design electric bass guitar. It came with an amp, cable, strap, wrenches and a pick. Accessories were low quality as expected, but the bass took me by surprise. After tuning, it played A LOT better than I expected for only costing $120 including the accessories. Very happy surprise! What a value for the buck.

An impressive deal
Do initial setup. (The strings on mine touched the frets and buzzed at many points and the problem was the tension and height on the bridge - the neck is nice and straight.) Change the strings. Re-seat the strap anchors so that the bass doesn't slide around and you have yourself a pretty good deal. The amp is trash but the amp isn't the point. The bass plays really nice once you change the strings and mess with the setup. For reference, I play a high end bass as well with built in preamps and all of that. This is not that but for the price it is really really good, light and great to begin on. Looks nice too. Great finish. The humbuckers are weak as some have commented before me but it doesn't make a difference in the practice space. I have to turn my amp to 4 instead of 3 to match the band. I think in this case, the weakness of the pickups is a boon as the pickups are a bit noisy anyway. All the little extras that come with it are cheap but helpful, the gig bag, the tools, and even the amp if you want to practice with headphones. I mean the whole thing is cheap but that's why I bought it.

NICE BASS
Great bass, so glad i bought it, i bought the matte black and white version too! (3 total) We all know you don’t buy this for the practice amp — those tiny amps always sound weak since the speakers can’t handle the full range. That’s expected. The real value here is the bass itself, and it’s awesome. The gig bag is worthless, its basically a dust cover, no padding at all. The bass feels nice and light, plays clean, and I was happy to find no hum. The stock strings are pretty cheap (I’d recommend swapping them out right away), but that’s normal for budget instruments. With a decent amp, this bass really sounds good. You don’t have to spend a fortune when there are solid options like this around. I grabbed the white one and it looks amazing in person. Couldn’t be happier with it — I’m very glad I went with this bass!

Just top notch for the price, but customer service gives you the runaround when problems occur
It's truly a phenominal deal, great sounding bass, with a pretty darn good little amp. and a nice cheap case. Let's see, the strap did break, but hey, whatever, I had my wife make me a new one, so it's no big deal. The only issue is it wont work with the amp any longer. I don't know what caused it, but it seems like faulty wiring.. I was in contact with the company, and they had me run down the troubleshooting list and I did all their steps, showing that the wiring in the guitar was the problem, and I kept telling them I really like their product, I only want it fixed or replaced, I dont want money back, I like the bass want to keep playing it, but they kinda blew me off after I went through all the motions to prove it was the bass that was the problem. So I still play it for practice, just without sound, and I sure would like to plug it in and play it again, or better yet, have it replaced with another one that works fine. but it's not looking like thats gonna happen. But if the company reads this and decides to help this time, and lets me send it back in for repair, or replacement. just know, I'll gladly, and quickly, chamnge this to a five star review, as I really love the bass, and still think it's a great deal!

Remarkably surprised!
What a fantastic starter kit with a sweet fiddle included. The bass itself is light as a feather with a finish far beyond it's price point. Mine arrived with a mirror, unmarred finish. Not a mark on the entire thing. The neck is straight with a satin maple back with and handsome inlaid rosewood fingerboard. The inlays are probably plastic but the look goods and are flush and square. There positioning is novel. The frets are straight, level, and are not proud/scratchy on their ends. It's It looks sharp. The angular shape is metal but I'll still play it in church. I really appreciate the modest, logo free headstock. I don't know if you can even buy the parts to build your own bass for the $89 I paid for. That's $90 with the strap, cord, AND AMP?!?! I didn't need a new bass but I had to see this. The action wan't bad oob, but you'll have to adjust the adjustable bridge for height/action/intonation but all that's normal for new, untouched. It comes with the tools to do so. The entire kit came carefully packed in a single box with ample Styrofoam and plastic wrap for protection. The tone pot on mine was lose with a temporary deadspot on the spin :\ Okay. A quick, careful snug up for that minding not scratch it because there's not a blemish on it. Working the knob back and forth cleaned that up. My $1500.00 Fender did(DOES!) the same thing. When I change the strings, I'll also give their machines a torquing. No other noise (hum, snap, crackle, or pops) so far. Passive pickups. 3 knobs : Vol neck, Vol bridge, Tone for both pickups. I'll be unable to comment on the tuning machines until the whole instrument is strung up for a couple of weeks but right off, they feel smooth, tight, and consistent on the turn with no slop. I'll play with it for a few weeks and then give it to a needy beginner.

The bass guitar is good, however, the amp started smoking and stopped working as soon as it was connected the very first time. I had to dispose of the amp that came with the guitar and buy another bass amp.
