I like the length and sturdiness of the leash. Will walk the dog later.

I adopted a dog from the shelter. He was raring to go and the 6+ feet leash just didn't make it. I found this one and he could run ahead and sniff while I was able to catch up. The length also allowed him to climb rocks where I couldn't go. Several people out walking their dogs asked where I got this.

I bought this leash just over 2 years ago. It’s been all over the place with us on—camping trips, long neighborhood walks, and to the beach. It’s been dragged through dirt, sand, over concrete, and gotten wet too many times to count. Our dog is also a pretty aggressive chewer, but he somehow has not chewed through this leash. Just today the leash finally frayed enough in one part that it broke and I immediately bought this exact same leash as a replacement. This leash will last, especially if you can manage not to get knots in it. (Ours frayed through from being dragged on the ground so much right where there was a knot in it.)

Rubber handle did not hold up.

I got this leash 3 years ago when I first got my rescue dog, who was 6 months old at the time. I have used this leash for the last 3 years, and it has held up extremely well. My dog is about 40 pounds and very energetic and I walk him at least a mile everyday (weather permitting) with this leash. I just ordered another one as I noticed some fraying around the top part where the leash is connected to the handle. Everything eventually wears out. I got my moneys worth with this leash!

I bought the 10’ length of this leash and love it so much.Most leashes are only 6’ in length and that’s not enough if you needed to let your dog run around the house leashed while still training.The round rope (instead of flat like most leashes) allows the leash to be wrapped around like a harness, if you use a Weiss loop with a Martingale collar. Also helps that that it is quite cushy so holding the rope doesn’t hurt when you’re holding the rope and the dog pulls.The two minor things I made modifications to are:1. I removed the padded handle to allow the leash to be looped through a Martingale collar.2. I had to wrap the metal fasteners with electrical tapes because they rub off easily, exposing the sharp edgesOther than the two above, I can’t recommend enough these leashes. My only wish was that I had bought a solid color, because everyone things my male puppy is a girl, because the color of the leash

We love this leash (OK, we don’t wear it our dog does, but bear with me), but the clasp keeps getting jammed with sand. The handle is comfortable, the leashes is sturdy, it’s just the class mechanism that’s an issue. If it never encountered sand, we probably wouldn’t have the issue. Mostly a great item

My husband and I got this for our 60 Lb pit Bull lab mix. We loved it because it kept him from pulling to much on hikes. He loved it because it gave him the freedom to stop and sniff and then run to catch up. The only reason it looses stars is my dog chewed right through it. Otherwise it’s a fantastic leash.

Purchased this leash for my 90 lb rescue dog. The 10' length gives me alittle more room to allow him to wander ahead without him pulling too much. After using this leash for a few months, I find that my dog pulls much less now with the extra few feet of freedom.Quality build on this items and hasn't shown much wear and tear whatsoever.

It is a great length for long leash training. Anyone commenting that it has too much give obviously doesn’t know how to use this leash. This is to help train reactive dogs so you absolutely want five in the leash! The only negative is that you will need to wear gloves when training as the rope will be uncomfortable when it pulls through your bare hands. All in all a really good product for a fair price!

THIS HAS BEEN GOOD FOR WHEN I HAVE TO LET THE DOG OUT THE BACK. IT IS JUST THE RIGHT LENGTH. HE CANNOT GET INTO THE YARD NEXT DOOR. IT SEEMS TO HAVE A LOT OF STRENGTH. IT IS RIGHT FOR OUR NEEDS.

I ordered the 10' leash to give my dog a little freedom on our walks. I am very happy with it. I can easily loop the lead and hold tight if I want to rein in my dog. The rope is smooth and I have had no issues with it burning my hands.
