I have professional digital calipers, but I bought these plastic calipers for the quick measuring of objects around the workshop and home.I like that they are light and near accurate and dispensable.

I needed relative accuracy not dead on rocket science or engine rebuilding accuracy. For my purpose these calipers work great- they are as dead on as I can check with a secondary measurement tool; I tested them against a steel ruler. If this somehow changes or the calipers fall apart suddenly then I'll update my review. But I don't see that happening anytime soon- these are well worth the price.

Would be lots easier to use if a distinct mark was made at he 1/2" mark. The 8 and 16 divisions per inch needs to be broken up for quicker and easier reading.

I’m a machinist and bought these as a goof. They’re obviously cheap, flimsy, loose, and hard to read. The lines and numbers are too bold and close together. There’s absolutely no reason to go to 1/128ths lol. At most, you only need 1/16th. Can’t imagine what these are actually used for. I like the colors though!
