This Large Papago Vintage Basket is a real beauty, and we were lucky to acquire this from on of our good customers! It was handwoven with sun and shade dried yucca to fully cover and secure the beargrass bundles. In beautiful condition, there is some fading and other than a broken stitch on the rim, there is no other apparent damage. It's about 16-1/4" wide and 4-1/4" deep, circa 1970's. The original tag from the Papago reservation is still attached. This Large Papago Vintage Basket is a wonderful, southwest collectible for your home or office!
