Absolutely the best astrology "personology" books ever written. Linda Goodman will always be remembered as STAR in the world of astrology.

Another favorite Linda Goodman book. While she does write about astrology, she writes about so much more in her books. The breadth of her knowledge on a number of topics is obvious in what she writes about in all her books. While she may have much go say on astrolological things, she also covers a number of other areas to do with science, one's belief set in their choice of a Higher Power, and what she says in her books is, to me, so uplifting from a simply human perspective. Reading her works, sometimes again and again, always uplifts me. She makes me appreciate the universe and what being human is really all about. I always feel more vibrant about life after reading (and rereading) the different sections of her books. I could only hope you would take away the positive take she has on what being human is a about the way I do. If I'm down, her writing lifts me up. If I want to read about things scientific, her writings offer that too. HIGHLY Recommended!

I own this book in hard copy and despite being the oldest, most decrepit book I have ever set eyes on, people still ask me to lend it to them, promising to take care of it. As has already been said, buy at least two copies; one for you and one to loan out. That's where the five star rating comes from. When I was given a Kindle Keyboard, Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Display for Christmas this was the first book I bought. Unfortunately, it appears that the original author's words have been badly edited to better "fit" these modern times. The allusions to well known celebrities that Linda Goodman herself made were sensible, but the new version has replaced these with icons that don't always fit what the author has said. As well as this, the "Boss" sections of each sign have been altered to use a female pronoun. Being a woman myself, I would have had no problem with this if it had been done neatly and correctly. But it WASN'T. From The Gemini Boss: "But the Gemini executive doesn't know HIMSELF which side of the bed SHE'S going to get out on each morning..." From The Cancer Boss: "...with HER father's picture on one side, and the group picture of HIS family on the other." These are only a couple I scooped out from a quick skim read just now. I mean, hooray for equality and all, but if you're going to edit a book, do it properly. Besides, this was written in the 1960s! That was how things were! There are other, unnecessary alterations, such as changing the original, firm "Don't try to be a career girl. He'll never stand for it. HE'S your career," to a more noncommittal "He'd prefer you not be a career girl. He'd prefer it if HE took all your time and attention." As a summary, the original book by Linda Goodman is a five star masterpiece complete with detailed description, interesting insights and plenty of humour. But I would appreciate this masterpiece on Kindle, not a butchered up version.

Fun book to read. I read it long ago and really enjoyed it. I wanted to see what she wrote about my grandchildren's signs.

I bought this for my neighbor because she had been telling me she used to have this book & loved it. This wasn’t exactly like the edition she originally had, but it was the 2nd edition of this book she bought since first choice wasn’t anything like she remembered it. This book was closer to the 1 she originally had so she was happier

This has been the bluechip standard for decades. I've always owned a copy - after a girlfriend threw a copy at me as she walked out the door to our apartment in 1977. I lost may last copy in a divorce. I bought a new copy when I started dating a taurus. I experienced exactly what the book described. I made the mistake of pushing it and getting her angry. Oh my that was an explosion of epic portions. Thankfully we were on opposite sides of the globe. Had we been in the same room I'm sure plates would have been flying. You will not be disappointed if you get this. I've found it to be very accurate but some if it is always a generality that could apply to any zodiac sign. But I tell you this - it was right on about Taurus loyalty and anger reaction. That description in the book is very specific.

Easy transaction would buy from this seller again.

A treasured volume of the late 60s, Ms. Goodman’s volume is both a novel read and a fierce astrological resource. She had the gift.

And Linda Goodman always has pertinent astrological information in her books.

I have been a owner of this book for years ..and I turn to it time and again ..really does help me suss people out ..and helps me cope with our differences as people ..like the saying goes theres nowt as strange as folk ..me included !! It been spot on with myself family and friends ..it helps me understand sometimes thats just the way we are. It helps me work round folk instead of against em .. makes life so much easier ..it helps me see the genuine decent stuff about us all ... This book might not be for everyone but if your into this sort of thing Im sure it will amaze you .. this one is a present for my son who now has his own young family ..hoping it will help him as it helped me years ago with him as a toddler lol if you are thinking of buying it.... please do .. but be prepared if you lend it out you wont get it back ..i have done this so many times ..the price is amazing along with LINDA GOODMAN !!

The best book on Astrology.

I had an original Bantam copy from 1968; a friend wanted one recently, so I ordered from you.It arrived in good time, good condition (as used hardback) and has been much appreciated by said friend. I used my original for my Theatre Arts classes and to study the sun signs for myself and others. Linda has been spot on. Love this book! "Taurus" approves! P.S. This Gr.
