I purchased these lures with the understanding that they were magical and would enable me to catch fish even when others were not. I believed that they would be so magical because they would look like a live fish to other fish in the water. Well I had been using inferior lures and bait and with no luck I decided to try one of my new lures. I was so very excited as none of my party had caught anything all morning. We were getting hungry and were fishing for lunch. I rigged up my line with the new lure and was eagerly awaiting my first bite when I cast my rod. Much to my surprise the lure, my weight, and my bobber took off flying towards the water as they disconnected from the line. I was horrified, apparently the lure is so lifelike it untied itself, the weight, and my bobber from the line and disappeared below the surface forever. Well, except for the bobber as they float and the waves brought it back to shore. I was hesitant to use another lure as they are a bit spendy for my budget so we packed up, headed back to camp and ate hotdogs. Perhaps next time I go fishing I will have the courage to try one again. However, when I do, I will make sure we have hotdogs on hand in case it decides to set itself free like the other one!

This little fish is my best friend. I can catch any trout, no problem. Bass on the other hand, is just not my friend. I have tried everything and anything, nothing works, while my son next to me is catching left and right. But this fishing lure is honestly the best thing I could have ever bought. I put it on a Jighead hook and have caught so many big bass with this lure. Definitely caught my PB with these. definitely recommend, and I will continue to buy!

Very soft and flexible, great action, 3/32 nail weight with a nose hook makes them very lifelike.The strong chemical smell is bad. Gently hand washed them and the eyes immediately fell off the silver ones. Aquarium silicone on a q-tip secured them perfectly back on. I let them air out for a day and they still smelled bad. Left them to air out for another day outside in the sun and that helped a lot. Tonight I'm soaking them in fish attracting spray in a baggie. Hopefully that will at least cover it up until it goes away with time.Update: I put a tiny amount of aquarium grade silicone over all the eyes to hopefully keep them in. The eyes are high quality and I really don't want to lose them. After airing them out all day today the smell is almost completely gone. Once this silicone dries I'm going to soak them. Will update again when I take them fishing.

These lures work great especially on bass and crappie. I had a lot of good strikes, constant strikes. These lures have great action and trigger many bites. Hit off the bottom a few times, reel up, jig a bit then reel about halfway to the surface. If no hits, repeat. I love that I can fish in a heavy weed cover without snags. They are very durable, high quality lures for a great price. I will definitely be buying more of these lures and keep them in my tackle-box!
