The illustrations are so cute and fun to color! Very relaxing! Same kind of paper as previous Coco books so be sure to put paper behind the page you are coloring if you’re using markers. Shading: If you want to add shadows on top of the marker areas, the Prismacolor soft core pencil crayons work beautifully, but only after you let the paper dry completely first, otherwise you risk paper tearing. Marker Blending: Even though the paper is thin you can get away with 1 round of normal blending techniques with both alcohol and water based markers. More than one round though and the paper may start to give way. Tools: So far in this Coco book I’ve tried using: Copic markers Tombow water based markers Ohuhu alcohol markers Kingart water based markers Prismacolor Soft Core Pencil Crayons Sakura GellyRoll Moonlight Bold 10 Pens (as shown in my photos) Everything has worked beautifully even though the paper is not thick. In some respects I think the thinner paper provides an advantage to successfully achieving some of the shading and blending techniques. I own lots of Coco books and love coloring in them. Their illustration style is calm and friendly, making coloring in them a relaxing and enjoyable experience. There were only a few pages in this book that I personally wouldn’t find enjoyable to color, like the “how to make a relaxing spell page” which was odd it was even in there, and some holiday themed pages (wish the holiday pages wouldn’t always be sprinkled in the non-holiday themed books), but they are easily removable. The other pages are absolutely amazing to color and you can tell much thought and care went into creating illustrations that would be fun to color while also helping to reduce stress. The paper quality is decent—I’ve used colored pencils, gel pens, and even some light markers without major bleed-through. The line art is clean and bold, making it super beginner-friendly but still enjoyable for more experienced colorists. Perfect for unwinding after a long day or just curling up with some creativity. If you’re into soft aesthetics, comfy clothes, and cozy living, you’ll love this book!

I’m in love with Girl Moments! The illustrations are so cheerful and heartwarming—they instantly put me in a good mood. I really appreciate the variety of settings in the book; each page feels like a different little story, and it keeps things fun and interesting. The level of detail is just right—not so simple that it’s boring, but not overly complicated either. There are many opportunities to add patterns or acrylic details if that’s your thing. This has quickly become one of my favorite coloring books, and I honestly can’t wait to get Girl Moments Vol. 2! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys happy, feel-good art and wants to unwind with a bit of creativity.

So cute. I love the size of the pages. It’s relaxing. No tiny little pieces to fill in. Great for all ages. Great with alcohol markers just use something behind the page so it doesn’t bleed throughout the book. So many ways to personalize!

Such cute coloring books! Had bought one each for the five granddaughters and a bag of alcohol markers and they sat for hours and colored. Ages 10 through 16.

I really enjoy these coloring books however, when I buy them from my local bookstore the pages are thick and feel more durable than the ones from Amazon. I'm not sure why. I love all of the little details and the options of each one. Please create a romance bookish one because I would LOVE one!

Fiquei impressionada com a qualidade do papel! Ele não é grosso, é necessário o uso de uma folha atrás para não passar o marcador para a página seguinte, mas o papel “espalha” melhor o marcador, deixa a pintura mais bonita! Os desenhos são lindos! Amei e recomendo 💙
