Expertly Renewed Business Machine Perfect for a Student
I'm a PC support professional, and former PC and Networking Technical Sales consultant. My daughter needed a laptop PC for university use. She finally discovered after two weeks of school that... no... she wouldn't be able to get through four years of college using only an Android phone.I wanted to get something that wouldn't cost a fortune, but also wouldn't be in the junky and flimsy Costco bargain basement SOHO-class either. I also wanted to give her a machine that I knew inside and out, since I would be supporting it for four years too. I picked this model since it is one I had specified, sold to small business clients, and supported in the past. It is not the smallest and lightest machine, but I knew that it should stand up to some rough treatment.I think we lucked out by receiving a laptop that had been refurbed by Ingram Micro, one of the world's largest PC distributors. As the photos show, it was immaculately packaged, came with detailed documentation, and a genuine Microsoft Refurbished Windows 10 product key sticker attached. The power supply is the genuine Dell part as well, right down to the glowing ring on the power jack, and not the cheap knock-off part I was frankly expecting. One odd thing: The top of the machine (that is, the back of the screen) came covered with a thick metal-textured plastic sticker, which disconcerted me a little bit. I felt that it not only looked odd, but gave it a weird feel in-hand, and made the machine look tacky; it can be seen in the photos. I was afraid that the sticker might be hiding damage. Otherwise the machine was in perfect, almost fresh-from-the-factory, shape. The only defect we found was a very small divot in the screen edge at the top, which you can see in one of the photos. I ended up carefully peeling the sticker off a few days later to find that it *wasn't* covering any damage or even any minor scratches. Who knows why it was on there? Just something they do to them all I suppose...It started right up and went through a normal OOBE (out-of-box experience) sequence for Windows 10 Pro, just like a brand new machine. Although the slick instruction sheets said that we would be prompted for the Product Key, that never happened. Once it got to the desktop, I checked the Windows build number, and since it was a year out of date at 1803, I immediately went to Microsoft's Windows 10 download page, and ran the upgrade to 1903. Worked like a charm and still no prompt for a Product Key. All the correct device drivers were installed, with only a couple that were out of date, all the devices work, and the system BIOS was up-to-date as well.I installed the usual set of freeware apps (I mostly use ninte.com for that), and installed a copy of Office 365, and tested the battery. I was sort of expecting the need to buy a replacement battery, but it lasted a good five-plus hours. Finally I turned it over to my blasé college-bound "customer." I think this was a great buy!...and based on the lack of complaints, I going to assume my daughter likes it OK too...

Academic use
I bough this laptop about a week and a half ago and so far it works great. I already have a Dell Laptop but it’s an expensive machine + heavy, so it wasn’t ideal to take to school in a daily basis. So I decided to buy a cheap machine to concentrate school stuff in. I wasn’t looking for a brand new laptop because I wanted to use it only for school purposes, and so far it’s meeting my needs. The laptop came in good condition, I can see some scratches (which I don’t mind) but none on the screen, battery is so far working great (5+ hours), and it came with windows 10 pro installed. I recommend it and it was for sure worth the price.

Refurbished dud
It would be a great computer if the wifi worked, and the airplane mode wouldn't get stuck on, and the audio jack worked, and the bluetooth it was supposed to have was really there. Had it a week and updated all drivers and tried various fixes to no avail. I like the look. It's nice and thin, the keyboard feels great, powers on fast. I really want to buy refurbished to help cut down on electronic waste but this was a complete dud and was exactly what people fear about refurbished products. So many things wrong with it. It came with a checklist of all of the components that were supposedly tested and passed. Lies. Thought I got a great deal on Prime Day but, as with anything, if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Update- Bluetooth works....some of the time but mostly not. Headphone jack does not work no matter what fixes are tried. Thought I could eventually work out the kinks but that's not looking so, and now I waited too long and missed the return window. So much for refurbished purchases. Be wary.

Muy funcional
La PC ha funcionado muy bien. Buena calidad, duradera y util para su propósito de compra. La batería es lo único que en mi caso dejó de durar mucho tiempo, un tiempo después. Pero por lo demás, su capacidad y su precio, excelente!

Best Customer Service EVER!!! Laptop works great!
We got this computer for my daughter. We were about 1 month shy of having it a year when it started to not charge. I reached out to the seller without expecting much. They responded super fast and had us a new battery before I could blink. That didn’t seem to fix the issue so I was given the option of a full refund or a replacement. We took the replacement and even got a faster computer than we originally had. The turn around time for the replacement only took a few days! I am extremely impressed & so grateful for the amazing customer service. The replacement is working great! I was skeptical about buying a laptop from Amazon but I no longer feel that way. I’d definitely come back to purchase future products with this seller as their customer service is exceptional.

The computer was in great condition
The computer was in great condition I had to charge the battery as it was flat but it held a charge once charged. Booted up fine no issues. Unfortunately its for my wife and she is a types quite fast some of the keys on the key board did not respond. It was not lag time but you had to really press the keys down hard individually to make them work. Not all off the top of my head W,J G,V keys.Apart from that issue I would have kept the item

Make sure to wipe out the hard drive and reinstall Windows 10.
So this is a case of you get what you paid for, the hard drive died two weeks after I reloaded Win 10. I did not contact the seller because I had planned to put a larger drive in the laptop. When I swapped out the failed hard drive I found it was sent out without the drive mounting bracket. Laptop is very fast and even with the drive issue I feel I got a good deal. I would buy from these guys again.
