PointZero1/6 HP Airbrush Compressor with Internal Tank and 6 Ft. Hose - Small, Quiet, Portable Air Pump

Full disclosure, I have not used an airbrush for over 40 years and then used compressed air cans. This is basically a beeginner's review of this compressor.I have started building plastic models again and decided that rattle can painting would not work. I saw this PointZero compressor here on Amazon and after reading the reviews it looked like you either got a good one or a bad one so for the price I had my daughter get me one for Christmas. After several weeks I think I got a good one.First off it is very easy to set up and use. Attach a hose (more on this later), plug it in and it is ready to hook up your airbrush. It is nice and quiet and takes up no space. It does cycle a lot but the stay doesn't pulse. I have used both 0.3 and 0.5 nozzles with excellent results . The compressor has not gotten hot and I am quite happy with its performance.Now, back to the air hose. A considerable number of the reviews had an issue with air leaks at the in-line filter. I use a one piece line with a filter at the air brush. No issues. Also you need to adjust air pressure with the compressor running and spraying air with a dual action airbrush.Great little air compressor for a great price; what's not to like.

I bought this as my first even compressor for an airbrush. I love it! No spitting issues so far, the moisture lock makes it possible to not have to buy a separate one to attach to the airbrush, and it's really, really quiet. I live in an apartment and I'm not worried at all that it will annoy my downstairs neighbor. If I'm at all worried (like if it's at night) I just prop the compressor on my couch or a footrest to keep it off the floor, it is so lightweight and doesn't vibrate so I have no fear of it falling off. If you buy this and have issues, experiment with the blue pressure gauge knob, you'll find the right spot for your airbrush and desired pressure.

Dear God .....😄😄😄😄😄😄I'm so happy to have purchased this compressor for my nail art.....Man oh Man I'm on cloud nine ...so impressed how it worked ...and works fit all my guns like a glove...its a no brainer....simple to use ..I like the blue knob it has on top how you can shut it off and as soon. You spray it comes back on ...I swear easy to follow instruction.. easy to operate ...there's really not much about it even being near difficult ...you won't regret investing g in this baby ..I would up load a picture... but I don't know how I can upload one my people ..otherwise I would ....my arts come out crisp. ..I will purchase another if needed too......I will keep you posted in a later review ...also I want to thanks you all for your honest reviews in helping me decide in buying this lovely machine does wonderous art......love you guys ..and god .bless.😘😘😘😘😘🌻

It was not what I was expecting. It worked fine, but was not suitable my heavy use. I returned it, but have not gotten a credit yet. I will let you know if I don't get the credit.

UPDATE 9/9/2019It's only been a few month and the compressor is starting to overheat. I can not get it replaced at this stage since amazon did credit my account. I did basically get a free compressor so I can't complain about that but I can warn others to stay away from this model. I can emphatically tell people spend the extra cash for a larger tank system and not to look at this brand. I have taken to using two smaller fans in a push pull config to force extra air over the motor which extends the time I can use the compressor buy only by about 5-10 min. Not impressed by this and the fact I will have to purchase a 3rd pump...UPDATE.. Had to have the compressor replaced. The kill switch that shuts the pump off when the tank is full quit working. The pump continued without any issue.. but I felt it was worthy of replacement. Amazon was fast 2 days and I have its replacement..7/25 the new pump arrived.. broken. I have included the picture of the fan grill.. This was packed broken by someone..The broken bits were not in the box.. thus my conclusion it was packed broken. Amazon is amazing.. The credited my card for the full amount and have allowed me to keep the item..I am writing this from the perspective of someone moving one step up in quality for their compressor. I started off with one of the small boxed bladder pumps. First off in terms of usage this 1/6 hp compressor is a beast. It has an automatic shut off which turns off the compressor when it reaches a certain psi. I have to say that is a plus since the old one just ran non stop. Secondly the satisfaction level was astounding. This pump provides more than enough pressure and consistency then what I am used to . Again I have to say impressed. I was able to work more than 15 min while having a thoroughly enjoyable times painting managed to base coat and shade a model.If you are using a starter set and are on a budget step up to this till you feel more comfortable to invest into a larger tank model. I highly recommend it.With all that being said.. I havent found any issues yet but its only seen 3 days usage so far. Baring any crazy problems I will adjust the rating as needed.

It's very good, powerd, I use it for airbrushing cakes,Easy to use. Good weight, it work perfectly with my airbrush, very nice pressure!
