The power is just right for a pool like mine that is about 5,000 gallons. The heating speed is very good. It only took a few hours to heat the water from cold to a temperature suitable for swimming. Moreover, it can not only heat, but also cool. It can also cool down when the water is too hot in the summer. This is really practical and can be used in all seasons. It is very convenient to use, especially the fact that it supports WiFi control. I am very satisfied with it. I can remotely turn it on and off, adjust the temperature, and set the timer directly with the mobile phone App. I don’t have to run to the device every time to operate it manually. I can adjust it even if I am on the sofa at home. It is full of technology. It runs quieter than I expected. The low-frequency humming sound is not disturbing, and it is not noisy when it is turned on at night.

My elderly father has a very small pool. He uses it to cool off, wade around, and keep mobile. Between having too much shade overhead and his tolerance to cold decreasing the water is simply too cold for him.This heat pump has been great. Installation wasn’t the easiest, but that is no fault to Varpoolfaye. Space was tight, we had to run a new electrical branch, and due to his salt cell we had to get creative. For the vast majority of homeowners I’d recommend hiring a plumber and electrician. That is a cost no one likes to pay, but the rule of thumb is “The more you do the more they’ll have to fix.”In the end his water temp went from 75*F to 82*F, but now I’m looking at installing one for my pool!

I have a 4800gal 18' dia above ground pool and that's close to the limit on this 110v pool heater. I use a 12" sand filter with a 3/4hp pump and I need to cut the water flow by about 50% or it pumps too fast to efficiently heat the water. At 50% it does a great job of keeping our pool at 82° even on cool nights. Can remotely monitor with the app.Use your pool later into the season with this heater.

Waiting until summer to set pool up, but contractor friend said the instructions seem straightforward and this should be easy for most to install.
