Perfect for smaller instruments like a tenor ukulele, guitar-lele or requinto
I have a Cordoba Mini SM-CE, basically a guitar-lele or requinto the size of a baritone ukulele. It’s too small to hold like a normal guitar so a strap is needed to bring it up to playing position. I tried a guitar strap but it was too thick and bulky. So I ordered the Real Vintage Leather Strap in black. Indeed, it has a 1960s thin strap vibe and is perfect for a small lightweight instrument like a Mini or ukulele.Leather is of good quality: tough as nails, plain but well finished and adjustable via a small chrome buckle.I have two Cordoba Mini, basically a guitar-lele or requinto the size of a baritone ukulele. It’s too small to be held like a normal guitar so a strap is needed to bring it up to playing position. I tried a guitar strap but it was too thick and bulky. So I ordered the Real Vintage Leather Strap in Brown. Indeed, it has a 1960s thin strap vibe and is perfect for a small lightweight instrument like a Mini or ukulele.Leather is of good quality: tough as nails, plain but well finished and adjustable via a small chrome buckle. This design is well thought out for smaller instruments: a hole on one side to mount to a strap button and an adjustable loop to attach to the head stock. The hole is tight and it took me a minute or so of struggling it to coax it on the button. It ain’t gonna fall off easily! The loop is adjustable via two holes, and designed to attach around the headstock at the nut. I find bumping my thumb into the strap in first position uncomfortable so I cut another hole to enlarge the loop to fit the headstock midway. Perfection! All in all this is an excellent strap: petite, attractive, well made and gets my Mini into perfect playing position. The lack of extra bulk is great too: fits in the case without removing the strap. I plan to buy more Real Vintage Leather Straps for my other wee instruments!

Backwards Buckle?!
Top-quality, Very nicely crafted strap, as other reviewers have pointed-out. However, if used with an F-style mandolin... properly attached via end-pin tab and F-scroll loop, the buckle is backwards! When worn by a rightie-player, the loose tab end of the strap faces FORWARD..Certainly this arrangement allows for adjustments without removing one’s instrument, but who does that?!Except for this apparent major design faux-pax, truly a great strap for smaller, lightweight instruments.Additionally, I ordered a red strap, but was rather hesisitent as it appears quite bright in the product photo. However, in reality th colours is a more muted red. Still a lovely, clear red, but thankfully, not nearly so bright. With the exception of the “buckle-debacle”... a very fine strap indeed.Tags indicate Liverpool, UK origin. Thanks for reading ,-CC, Amazon-Prime Member-Reviewer

Stiff leather, but sturdy
This leather strap worked well on my f-style mandolin with only minor modification--the loop that goes around the scroll was just a bit too short with the holes provided. With a leather punch (or a small knife), that was easily fixed and now it works perfectly. The leather is a bit stiff out of the box, but it works well and will wear to be softer over time. Otherwise, it's fairly comfortable and it's a good length.

Excellent quality.
Excellent quality. It would be helpful though if they had cut the hole for the end pin a bit larger. I had take a knife and try to enlarge it. It is very stiff leather. At least there is no chance it will come off while playing.

Five Stars
Good strap, a little to long, however, I cut it to make it shorter and works very well....not bulky....comfortable.

Looks great. Wish it was more comfortable
May not happen to everyone. But the buckle catches my hair and is uncomfortable. But the quality and look is great
