Two Pre-Potted 3' Artificial Cedar Topiary Outdoor Indoor Tree

They surround the patio beautifully!

Out of the box these were in immediate need of “working”. All the branches needed to be pulled apart and bent into a natural shape. After taking a little time to start at the bottom and work my way up, I couldn’t be happier with the result. The weighted base is enough to stabilize it while placing it in another container, but not large enough or heavy enough on its own to support or stop it from falling over in a brisk breeze. If you pull too hard on the branches, you may dislodge one, so be sure to work one branch at a time. It’s easy enough to slide it back in place that way. The overall look is very realistic and I have already received several compliments as I was staging them on the porch. If they stand up to the Texas weather over the next couple months, will purchase more.

Looks good but very fragile.

I have a black thumb. Both of my bushes, on each side of my garage died, so I planted two more, identical bushes and they both died AGAIN! I need something to replace them with that wouldn’t die… Enter these faux shrubs. Be extremely delicate fluffing them, or you will end up with a hand full of plastic pieces. The color is good and the size is okay (I could’ve gone with a little bigger). The pot isn’t stable (you will need to anchor it if “planting” outside) and the stems are cheaply made. If you can get past that, they filled in the empty space and will get the job done. At least I don’t have to worry about them dying ;p

I keep my eye out for any UV rated plastic shrubs or grasses that I can place in pots in my back yard that will blend well with some live plants and nobody will know which is which! The UV rating is critical as this reduces the amount of color fading in the sun over time. These cedars are a deep green color with very realistic foliage and once potted, look like the real thing until you get up very close. They were well packaged for protection during shipping, only a couple of small pieces were loose in the bag and I just pushed each of those back onto the little stems on the tree trunk wherever one was missing. After gently spreading the branches evenly up and down each little tree, I potted them with real dirt to add authenticity. As you can see from the photos, they work well with the other plants and grasses, some of which are real and some aren't! They are also considerably less expensive than similar items at my local home decorating store.

Don't waste your money! I purchased these two 3' trees along with two 4' trees from this seller. When I recieved them, they weren't like the ones in the picture at all. In the pictures, they appear a lot fuller. When I got them, there was nothing to them. They looked more like two potted weeds or like that sickly Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Many of the branches had just fallen off the trees inside the box they arrived in. I had take a lot of time time try and stick all the fallen leaves back on the trees where they had come off. Even then they still were not very full looking at all. I also spent $163.00 on the same trees in the 4' size as well. They were even more of a joke. Before I ordered all four trees I thought they were a bit over priced but I thought as long as they look good or at least as they do in the pics, they might be worth the price. When they arrived I was very disappointed. I haven't even place them where I intended to because they look so bad. I just stuck them in a closet for now. I should have sent them back immediately but just haven't felt like the hastle of trying to get a refund from the seller. When you figured in shipping, IT WAS LIKE $300.00 WASTED!

I live in an HOA townhouse. I had two cactus type plants in front of my door, and maybe b/c they were cactus is why I always forgot to water them? Anyways they started having dry dead leaves, and my nothing else to do HOA walks the neighborhood monthly to check that everything is up to their standards. So I get a mailing that says I will be FINED if I don't remove those cactus plants (which weren't really dead they just had brown leaves on them). SO ANNOYING!So I decided to just buy fake plants. I did a search on amazon for what was out there, and found some things I liked, but each one by itself cost more than these two plants combined. I read some of the 1 and 2 star reviews of how they look plastic and fake, but honestly I was willing to take the chance because first of all, I'm always in the house and I go in and out through the garage so I never even see the front door half the time, so who cares if they look fake or not, but I still wanted greenery at the front door.They arrived faster than expected and they did look plastic when I opened the box. BUT, when I took them out I decided to try to fluff them like you would a Christmas tree when you take it out. These leaves aren't bendable like a Christmas tree, but my idea worked. They came flat in the box, but as I fluffed them, they started to look a little more real. I put them into the pots that I had been using for the cactus, and voila they look good! Better than anticipated. I stood back away from my front door and you can't really tell they are fake. Nobody who comes to the door is gonna be inspecting the front door decorations so who cares if they really look truly real or fake up close? So for me, they are perfect and I'm very happy with them. And I can give a huge "Screw you" to my HOA when they next inspect the neighborhood!!

We use these little trees on our super windy porch outdoors. We like the size and weight of the tree's small pot which we planted inside our larger metal pot with dirt (where our real tree died). The little trees may not look all that authentic close up but they won't be inspected closely where located and they look cute & real at this distance. These faux trees are a lot easier & cheaper than constantly replacing living plants. Do we wish they were cheaper? Yes but compared to other small trees we looked we saw that these had a heavier base and a fuller look. The photos & description are accurate. For us this was a purchase we expect will last for several years or more, allowing to decorate for holiday & more so we are delighted.

They are plastic and look like it. Terrible quality.
