Works better than any other product I've tried when I need a product like this. I drink it at night, before bed, and normally I'm ready to go by the next morning. I do not usually experience any type of cramping. I have used it during the day before... I had an urgent situation where I'd been on morphine after an unexpected trip to the ER, and I was in extreme discomfort the next day. I tried several products with no relief, but this worked like a charm. There was a slight cramping feeling, but it was NOTHING compared to what some other products have caused in the past. It's not at all painful. This is not meant to be used on a daily basis as you can become reliant on it. I just use hot tap water.. I do not boil the water. If you are making it that way and having problems with cramping or not being able to make it through the night, you might want to try making it with hot tap water instead... I think that makes it a little less potent. I let it sit for about 5 - 10 minutes before drinking. I've used both the regular and the chocolate flavor and I like both. Tastes way better than any other product you might try to get some relief. I would never use anything different.

This tea does the job. I am plagued with constipation, my digestive track just doesn’t move on it’s own. Ive tried everything short of prescription products - I get plenty of fibre, exercise, etc. Smooth Move really helps. I have a cup every other day at bedtime. I purchased the original flavor. While it isn’t something I would choose to drink for pleasure, it is not unpleasant. It tastes slightly sweet and herbal-y.

Great product, has never let me down! Not a bad price, but shortly after ordering these, I saw some for cheaper in my local store. Packaging for the these was bad, both boxes arrived crushed. Amazon packed the rest of my order nicely, so I know it wasn't them, it was the supplier for these. But the teabags are fine, that's all that matters, so still getting 5 stars. Also....DO NOT forget about your tea and let this steep for longer than the reccommended 15-20 minutes. Mine had been steeping for an hour. I had to poop every 30 minutes, but boy did I feel nice and clean inside haha! This tea will make you poop, but gently. Even after my 1-hour steeping time, I still didn't get diarrhea. I just pooped a lot. A whole lot.

I buy this for my husband who struggles with occasional constipation. This stuff works! A cup of hot tea shortly before bedtime has him back on track by the next morning. The only complaint would be that the teabag often breaks in the cup, so I took off one star for that. I bought a tea ball to put the teabag in to avoid having to strain leaves out of the tea. Update 11/14/2021: The issue with having teabags break seems to have been rectified. Seems the manufacturer was listening and fixed the problem. Haven't had one break for quite some time now.

A friend of mind gave me a few bags of this tea to help with major GI problems following major surgery that pursued for 4 MONTHS. I tried everything including a glass of Mirolax each day with a stool softer morning and night as suggested by my doctor........nothing worked well. When I got my tea bags and my friend gave me the box to show to my doctor, and he approved for daily use if needed. This stuff delivers results every time. I take it as directed at bed time. My 83 year old aunt asked me if she could try it, and she loves it also. She doesn't have a computer, so I order it for her. Thank heavens for this stuff, and it doesn't taste medicine at all. Love it, and thanks for making it.

You can't go wrong with this tea. The only thing I will add is that it's well named. It moves things smoothly, with minimal cramping toward the end of the process (12 hours), which makes it a very comfortable experience compared to everything else out there. If you take it at the same time every night, you're guaranteed a movement at the same time every morning. TIP: Everyone is different, and I would caution against letting the tea steep longer than directed (at least the first time you use it). My husband (big eater, mostly protein/starch) has no issues with 15 minutes or more. For me (light eater, mostly vegetarian), 5 minutes of steeping are more than enough on most days...

Smooth move tea is great. It works really well if you follow the directions. I give the tea 5 stars but the way they packaged it to deliver it 1 star so the overall rating is only 3 stars. Sorry smooth move. Amazon, get your s… together!

I tried this in desperation as my blood pressure medicine makes me horribly, painfully constipated. I was/am tired of worrying about it and suffering through it all the time. I also didn't like having to take "stool softeners" all the time. I figured I'd give this a try. Am very happy that I did. However, warning, if your body reacts like mine, don't take this unless you're serious. It worked great and within about 7 hours. and 8 hours and 9 hours. Fortunately I didn't have any place I had to be the morning after I took it. I felt no pain, I just had to go. And go. And go. I was and am surprised that a cup of tea would solve a problem that will be with me for the rest of my life. I love it and if it is used as directed it is a great solution for a problem many suffer with because of side effects of medications.

Me and my husband drink every evening this green tea really good for stomach digestive food. I am happy thanks.

Purchased this to keep things flowing smoothly after a surgery. Tastes fine and worked as expected without horrible cramping.
