I did a lot of searching and comparing between the numerous kinds (various companies versions) of these and I'm very satisfied with this product.I have a Corgi-Lab (Corgidor) mix and he is a rescue who is very calm and obedient.However, he constantly barks at the door and recently we have added a new dog to the home who he has been growling and grabbing at.I could tell that the two behaviors were simply becoming instinctual and they were getting a bit worse so that he would instantly react (either barking or snapping). As I said he's obedient but I also could not get his attention when he interacts with the other dog or when he is into his barking at the door.When I received the product yesterday I put a battery in (9v not included), set it on trainer (middle option with dog standing icon) and gave it a one second tap.My dog turned his head to me and then came over to me.I praised him and then waited for his other behaviors.Last night he would get near the new dog and then the instinctual growl-snap would be just about to occur and I would give a 1 second tap and my Corgidor would instantly snap out of that instinctual "trance" he was in and look at me and then I would praise him. After just two or three times, he was already beginning to break himself out of his bad behavior and by the end of the night (4 or 5 one second taps) he was turning away from the other dog with no growling or snapping on his own.This is a great product.The interesting thing is that we noticed that the other dog (younger Australian shepherd) didn't seem to notice the thing much at all. That could be why some people don't think this thing works. Not sure if it is because of his personality, younger age, doesn't hear it as well or just not as bothered by it or what.Anyways, this product works perfectly for me because my Corgidor responds to it in the perfect way: he snaps out of behavior and comes to me for praise.For the low price it was well worth trying it out and I'm really glad that it does work so well.

I could give it five stars because it did work on the dog that I bought it for. The two smalls dogs do stop barking and listen to me when I use it. However, my biggest dog that is around 75-80 lbs it does nothing. So if you have a small dog it will work perfect for them.

I ordered 1 and liked it so much I ordered 2 more for my children. 1 of the 3 does not work at all. I've even tried to replace batteries, so it's not that.

I tried another brand of this device, but was not happy with it because the flashlight did not work. This brand had better star ratings on Amazon so I ordered it. It works great on ALL my dogs. From my Pittie to his Rottie and our Chi-Weenies! I love it! I tried so many other things with my Staffie Pit Bull, and this works the best!

Didn't work as well as I expected.

Works great! The neighbor's dog starts barking when I let my dog out in the back yard, then my dog starts barking. Two LOUD dogs at 6:30 am is no good. It works with both. I press the button and no barking. Best money I have ever spent!!

Was a little skeptical but seems to work with my chihuahua to keep him from barking I can even just say no and reach for it now and he stops.

Not loud enough. Tested it with special equipment. Gives at best 30-40dB.Update! Tested on multitude of dogs in the city, where my primary concern lies. NONE of the tested dogs feel the signal or show ANY sign of being threatened. Can't blame all the dogs being deaf. So simply put - it DOESN'T WORK as intended.
