Fun build!
Unfortunately, I already packed mine away with my Christmas decorations and forgot to snap a picture. However, it is such a fun build and it looks great with my other brick type Christmas decorations! There is a hefty amount of detail in this train once it's put together, and the pieces snapped together nicely. We have a plethora of brick type builds and I have actually come to enjoy the sets that are just slightly harder to snap together than the name brand. This is mainly because they are also slightly harder to come apart! I have kids and they can take out a brick set with no effort. These newer ones require just a hair more effort to put together but they have also withstood handling from my kids, so it seems to be a no brainier to me. Cute set though, highly recommend!

This was a challenging set to build, but it was so cool once finished!

Great detail and a fun build!
The pieces fit together well and the instructions are pretty clear. The build will take a while, but the end result is quite good. The detail is great and everything works great. The string of lights is kind of confusing to route, but it all works and the lights are pretty bright,I'm not so sure about pre-teen kids doing this kit. There could be some frustrations for them, but, all in all it is a great finished product. Possibly a bit pricey, but it makes for a great Christmas decoration!

Finished train look great
This is a challenging and fun train for the holidays. I love to have Christmas projects (building blocks, crafts, puzzles) for my kids and I to do together during December and the Holiday break from school. The finished train looked great on my shelf (I have packed it away with my Christmas decorations). The instructions are a little challenging and some of the steps are hard to see what needs to be done due to them being super dark. I had to take pictures of the steps so I could zoom in to see what I needed to connect. The pieces connected together fairly well, we didn't have any major problems. Fun build for older kids and adults. I would not consider this a toy to play with after it is built. More of a display or decoration for Christmas.

Turned Out Cute
This was fun to make! However, if you are going to make this consider a few things. Instruction book is a good guide however, some of the pictures are hard to see details, would have been better to see real photos, some are just too dark. You will need strong, small fingers! You will get the hang of how hard to press and how. (Pieces will fly off as you press hard on some of them!) When I made an error my husband had to take it apart and use his pocket knife. There is a bag of 'extra' pieces. This is good because some pieces were missing from the kit bags - however, some pieces were completely missing and none in extra piece bag. You will need to be creative and figure out how to use some other piece or leave them out. As you construct pieces will keep falling off again and again. So--- I used Loctite super glue, ultra gel control. This worked best for me. I don't think the kit is worth the expense although Lego kits are pretty spendy in comparison. I purchased for my husband who took one look and told me no way is he going to put this together! I plugged in the lights to make sure they worked. I would gave it 3 stars for frustration but 5 stars for fun for me. I like crafts! Maybe a coordinated 12 year old, these days, could put this together but I sure don't know. I'm over 70!!!
