This plant was in my tank for 5 days, before the water began to slightly change color to a pale yellowish green. By day 7 my young Betta began laying on the bottom of his tank, hiding his head near the tank filter and moss balls and he never did this before.. he's always active! Day 8 (last night) I came home and he was breathing so hard, laying on his side not moving at all. I took him out of the tank and placed him in a new holding tank with clean water, and he came back to life. If I were you, I would not ever put this plant in your tank. This was the only new item to his tank, so I have no doubt it was toxic to him.

he was in love! I saw him dart in between the leaves ...
My betta immediately took to this plant. Before I had ordered him a plant that was falsely advertised as a silk plant and upon receiving it, I realized that it was plastic. I (stupidly) put it in his tank as a temporary plant until I could order him a new legitimate silk plant, and he tore a couple of his fins on it and would try to avoid getting near it :( I felt awful. Then I found Zazalum and bought him two, and as soon as I rinsed them and put them in his tank, he was in love! I saw him dart in between the leaves and weave in and out, just having a ball! I am happy that he is now happy and will not tear his fins. These had a LITTLE bit of a funky smell when I got them, but after rinsing them in hot water then again in cool water, they were just fine. Happy with my purchase

Cute and full plant.
I got this plant for my 5.5 gallon Betta tank and it is a perfect size. The plant fits well with the leaves spread out to the top of the tank. The colors were nice but i did notice a bit of fraying on some of the leaves. At the bottom of the plant there are some plastic leaves that I removed because I am an overprotective Betta mother. Additionally within the plant there are some plastic buds with pointy tips. I heated the plastic and rounded the tips to make it safe. After these changes, my betta has absolutely loved it and has been hanging out in it all day. So far so good.

Requires modification and repair.
The leaves aren't adhered to the plastic stems well at all. They're literally peeling off upon opening. There's also a pointy flower bud piece, not shown in the product description photos, right in the center of the top tier of leaves that is very sharp - unsafe for bettas. However, it's covering the metal rod that supports the stalk and is necessary to prevent rusting. Since I actually love the look and flow of the leaves, I will keep it and modify it to meet my needs.

So I got two of these. I put them in the tank. Nice material. Got them for a future Betta as I’m in the middle of cycling. However one of them cane frayed 🙄 annoying because I plan to buy more but now I’m not sure if I should because it came frayed. Didn’t even realize until I put it into the tank.

Bright green, soft fake plant! Love!
Beautiful, bright green fake plant! The color might be too green for some, but I think even from up close they look like real, very healthy plants. The leaves sway in the current and within minutes of adding to the tank, my betta fish was already resting on the leaves. I tried real plants twice before but never with any success (they produced a lot of waste via shedding/dropped leaves and died on me) so decided to give fake plants a try. Really love these, they're VERY soft and I hope they last a while in my tank!

I'm a little concerned....
this fake plant is full and soft, unlike a lot of fake plants you'll buy. My only concern is that the edges of most all of the leaves are frayed and I'm worried my fish may try to eat them. I will update if necessary.

Realistic but not durable
The plant arrived and was very nice. It looked real ai I was excited to get it in with my fish. After 2 months in the tank bits began to come off as far as the greenery. The glue holding the greenery was failing, allowing the stems to come free and float in my tank.
