Amazing light! I love the different percentages for the lighting. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good light for a good value of money! It is a bit bigger then I thought but it works amazing! If you are thinking of getting it please do!

this is a very nice aquarium light, while not completely sealed waterproof the build quality is very good, i really like the simple aluminum design, the buttons and controller feel durable, and the cord and adapter are nice quality as well. i was going to buy another aqqa light that has the screen on it with the duel row of larger rgb chips but the price went up on it and there was a discount on this one, while it doesn't have those larger rgb chips it does have the upgraded 5054 chips, and you really wont find them on most brands which is something i hunt for for my plants because i dont like pendant lights and you want good chips that are intense enough to reach the bottom of the aquarium and this light provides. it may not be a brand anyone is familiar with yet in the aquarium hobby but we all started with aquaneats at one point, eventually you gotta upgrade for your plants and this is a solid option.

This is a good aquarium light, but not a great aquarium light. It is easy to program, but there is not a lot of programing options. (Note: to program it you need to input quickly.) It is not cheaply made nor is it solid. The lights are okay, but not vibrant. Given the shortcomings of other aquarium lights in this price range, I will keep it.

I love this aquarium light. It's well made. The light is very bright but you can adjust it. I like the position of the control panel to turn on or off the light that it's not too far down to make it hard to find it. The size is perfect for my 30 gallon aquarium. I bought a piece of glass that goes across the top of my aquarium to put this light over it even though the light is supposed to be waterproof. I just want to protect it and hope that it will help make the light last a long time. So far I have had it for a couple of months, and it's working great. I did not even realize how dark my aquarium was until I turned this light on. Wow! I could see my fish now. I have neon tetras, so the light really helps make them gorgeous and the neon color stand out. I want to warn you about the brightness of the light though. I did not realize you should not leave the light on at 100% for a long time. I did that and was so surprised to find hair algae growing on my plants and also on the glass piece. When I googled how to combat algae in my aquarium, it said to reduce the brightness to about 30%. I have been doing that and also limit the number of hours to 6-8 hours, so plants can still get the light but not for too long because they need to rest, too. The algae problem has decreased, not completely gone, but I don't see it on the glass any more. When I turn on the light, it always starts at 100% and I have to click the down arrow button until it goes from 100% to 30%, so it took 7 clicks. I wish that you could set it at 30% and it stays there, but whatever! I can live with that minor annoyance.

It definitely isn't a medium to high intensity light. But overall it fairly does the job and I guess the color changing feature and the time settings makes up for the poor quality of brightness

This light is very bright. So far, I really like it. I have high hopes that this one will last longer than my previous light (different brand) This particular light seem to really bring out the colors of the fish amd plants! Its beautiful

Simple to use timer works great and lights look great. Bright and well made

These lights are great! They come with pre-programmed timer that varies from reddish at the beginning of the day to full spectrum, the bluish violet for end of day. My plants are thriving since I started using these.
