Super sharp
Works great but please be careful! It’s easy to cut yourself when trying to hold the base. I ended up with 7 stitches from holding it wrong. The blades are super sharp and will cut meat very fine but again very super careful when handling this.

AWESOME tool!
I love kitchen 'gadgets', and this one is up there in the top echelon of what's in my drawer! This thing is easy to operate, and does an awesome job. One word of caution. The blades are seriously sharp! I've allowed my finger to actually touch the sharp side twice now - no pressure, just a touch - and I've bled both times. It gets the job done in record time.

Be diligent and this will be your most useful kitchen tool.
Getting the bad things out of the way first, the amount of flex in both the blades and the fins of the base often results in cutting into the plastic fins on the base if you aren't careful. The suction works for the most part, but don't trust it fully so as to not make any dangerous mistakes. The positives are great and are the reason I'm still using this product. To start, the blades are incredibly sharp, whether I'm slicing beef for make jerky, or tomatos and onions for burger toppings, this thing goes through like slightly cold butter once you learn the technique, giving you perfectly cut condiments. The value is through the roof, but only if you are a cautious person as there is zero personal safety equipment included and will require a diligent use of forethought and ignoring instincts to hold it in certain ways. One hand holding the handle, the other hand pressing the palm on the other end of the blade stack with fingers out stretched and NEVER curling your fingers and never letting any part of your body on the underside of the blades. It sounds like a common sense thing, but as soon as you start to struggle you may find yourself about to break one of those rules. Don't.

Be Careful
I don't know how this thing is on the market. It works well if the meat is 1/4 frozen, not all the way thawed as recommended. The problem is that it's the most dangerous contraption in my home. I'm scared of it. I sliced my finger open using it 10 days ago and I am still tending to the wound. When I look at my wound, I feel quesy. I think I should have gotten stitches from the wound it caused. No sane company would make a contraption like this unless they are sociopaths. If you buy this thing, get the model with the handle. If you don't get the one with the handle then be prepared to unintentionally slice a finger off. Good luck!

Great gift idea
I had bought this for a Christmas gift for my dad. It is easy to use and great for making jerky. Seems to cut sharp.

Okay product
Wouldn’t cut softer meats, but for thicker meats it’s more ideal. Hoped for better quality due to price. Will just stick to hand cutting.

Time saving
This slicer allowed me to easily dice meat for street tacos and anything else I needed. It used to be tedious slicing the meat, this is effortless. Only downside is the meat holder is pretty small, so you have to cut them in smaller chunks to fit it in. Otherwise great

The blades are very sharp.
Please be careful with the blades, they are extremely sharp and just a little bit of pressure on your skin will cut you. If you use this exactly as instructed it works perfectly. I have now used it several times on different pieces of meat and it cut the strips perfectly.
