Clean water
I have used these filters for some time now. If you want better tasting water, this is the one. But it may reduces your water pressure. You should have better tasting water for it

Great Way to better water!
This was a direct replacement for my WHKF-GAC filters. I simply unscrewed the filter housing, removed the old filter. Then cleaned the inside of the housing before inserting the new cartridge and reinstalled the housing. I also used a new o-ring as the old one seemed like it was starting to dry-rot a little and I purchased a 2 pk of them a while back. Hopefully the water quality is the same as before when using the original Whirlpool filters but I will never know without a water test. 4 cartridges for $36ish seems like a pretty good deal! They also come with 2 sets of “month” stickers for all 12 months x 2 to stick on the filter housing to display the month changed- convenient!

Best alternative replacement water filter for the money
The reason I give it a 4 stars because the filter shell feels a little thin compare to the original Whirlpool filter. However, I already used 3 of those and they held up pretty well. Fitment is the same as the original, no funky smell or anything suspicious. Great filters for the price and I definitely recommended it.

Senior citizen taken advantage of
This product did not work at all. It collapsed about 3 weeks in I changed it. The second one collapps and depleted my water pressure. Threw The third one away.

Value without compromise
Well I ordered these because they’re $30something for 4, but at Lowes, the same replacement filter is $16 a piece! So I ordered these and I am completely satisfied! The water is crystal clear and taste like bottled spring water! The only place I’ll ever buy from again!
