Not so non-stick, but wax paper works well with it.
I use this burger press for burgers and sausage patties. I use the sausage patties on English muffins. The pre-cut patties are always too small. I buy a roll of raw sausage and press them in this press. At first, I thought they might be too big, but they shrink when cooking. The size is almost perfect depending on what kind of English Muffins you get. I use it for sausage patties about 5 times a week. The press works really well for shaping the patties, but it is not very non-stick. Getting the raw meat out is really difficult. I tried cooking the meat in the bottom tray thinking that it would be easy to cook and remove once cooked, but the tray got charred immediately and I had a hell of a time cleaning it. I've resorted to using wax paper in the tray every time I make patties. The wax paper works really well. You can stack the patties with the wax paper without having them touch or get stuck together. They come out very easy with wax paper too. I also don't have to clean the press when I use wax paper since everything is contained in the wax paper. I think the press works really well if you don't mind using wax paper.

GREAT value
Works fine. The non-stick coating tends to gradually lose its slipperiness if you're prepping a couple dozen patties at a time (not a problem when pressing a couple of patties), i just line the bottom piece with parchment paper large enough to fold over the meatball to protect the top piece as well, the parchment also gives me something to carry a patty over to the parchment-lined pan on which i use to freeze the patties. when the patties are frozen, i just cut the parchment into patty-width strips to make it more sanitary to put the patties into a freezer bag for storage. the parchment keeps the patties from sticking together, as well.

❤ The PERFECT Pattie everytime. ❤
MY husbands favorite.Makes great burgers.Tip: We keep it in a Ziploc Bag in the refrigerator. We use precut sheets of wax or parchment paper in the base before we add the meat.Keeping it in the fridge chills down the metal and makes the burgers pop right out. Love this press!!

Just OK
Sturdy top and bottom. Good diameter and depth. Heavy metal. But not non-stick. PAM before use helps in release of formed burger. My biggest concern is how long the wooden handle on the top press will last. With wood, would not recommend dishwasher.

Item is not nonstick
This is not a non stick product, ground beef got stuck in press, when i tried to remove patty it broke in half. I was highly disappointed as i had to make patties by hand.

Good burger press
Place wax paper under and above the ground beef before you press it. Seems to make a 4oz or so patty pretty nicely. Just don't use the handle to apply force down, it will bend very easily. Use two hands and push down evenly along the rim.Stamps in some grill marks, for whatever reason.

Quality Press at a Great Price.
I purchased this product because of the price. I figured I would try it to see how it worked. I purchased a club package of ground beef, and made over 20 hamburgers. It was easy. I made 5 ounce burgers (my preference) with no issues. I was very pleased with the quality of the product, and it was easy to use. Overall I am very pleased with the product.

Nice, wish it was 1/2 to 1" smaller, and deeper.
Too big and need too much wax paper, which is time consuming to use. 3" would have been perfect
