Magnavox MWD2206 DVD/VCR Combination Player

This VCR/DVD player is a life saver! Instead of throwing out so many old VHS tapes, my autistic son can continue to enjoy them. The the player was in good condition as advertised, and very well packaged, delivered in a timely manner too. A great buy, and very helpful for our whole family.

This product does not play or record. I know it is too late, but I have been overwhelmed with the death of my husband. So this didn't even get connected till a couple of weeks ago. I wish we can work something out so I can watch my tapes and DVD's

We where able to see our old dvd's and cs'sof our family,priceless! This machine was delivered on time and packed really well so no damage in shipping,also the seller great to deal with. Some cables missing and they sent them out asap I thank you!

I know this is soooo old school but I can't afford all new TVs and streaming on all rooms so this way I record on one TV and view in other rooms. I had been using renewed and older machines but decided to by new old stock. It was too expensive but I am happy with it. works great. I only gave it 4 stars because when it arrived it had a notice that if I opened the box it was NOT returnable. While I know it was "new" it was also decades old so had risk it would not work. It was a risk to open the package and see if it worked. Thank goodness it did but how terrible if it had been damaged in shipment or what ever and I would have been out hundreds of dollars. So I deducted a star for bad company policy

Used VCR/DVD COMBO. Delivered earlier then was informed and expected by a week! I sincerely appreciate the vcr/dvd combo was packed with extra care. Works great, so far after a week of playing vhs and dvd movies. My autistic son really enjoys his old vhs movies. Much gratitude!

Seems to work well. No remote included. And top left hand corner was cracked. Box was pretty well beat up. A remote would have been nice.

I work in a remote campground with limited wi-fi and no cable TV. I do however have a couple of boxes of favorite old movies all on VHS tapes, plus a shelf of DVDs. I'm easy to entertain, I can watch the same movie 50 times, like having an old friend over for coffee. This Magnavox dual player is lightweight, not bulky, and works beautifully. The VCR tapes track perfectly, the DVD player also will play music CD's through my TV. My duties keep me living on the grounds all week, and now I can relax and listen to Ellen Ripley saving the day yet again from Aliens, or follow the reunion plans of The Last Of the Blonde Bombshells, or play my 8 tape series of I, Claudius , or the French version of Cyrano de Bergerac whenever my heart desires...Thank you Humble Living for reconditioning and making this player available and for such a reasonable price!

the vhs feature is a fuzzy picture on both tapes created and tapes purchased. dvd works fine
