Very good marker
The TMC is a great paintball marker, it's lightweight, it's durable, most of it's body is made of steel , easy to use, shoots fine (recommend upgrade the barrel) , it's air efficient, it's cheaper compared to other markers and it's components like the mags and orings are cheape, can run both mags or hopper ...But it's not perfect, it can't shoot first strike, you can't use the air tank in the stock unless you upgrade it, it's not easy to cleanOverall I would say for the price overall is a good deal, you will have a solid marker with nice features so as your first marker you will be very happy

Must have marker, but lacks First Strike Capability
I didn't know what to expect when I bought a $200 marker. I own several high-end paintball markers, but this by far is my favorite up close rifle.Pros: Light weight, 98 threaded barrel meaning TONS of upgrade options, great rail system for even more TONS of customization, comes with 2 great mags and a dummy mag for hopper-fed games, the stock feels well-made and not wiggly like some cheap collapsible stocks, and the overall feel of the marker incredibly sturdy. It's a Tippmann so it is like the AK-47 of the paintball world in terms of reliability.Average: The stock barrel is dead accurate up to about 40ft before the balls veer off; while I was impressed, I ditched it for a better barrel. Really comes to life with a CO2 line.Cons: Doesn't take First Strike rounds. Unlike many other great Tippmann markers (98, A5, TiPX, etc...) this marker doesn't *yet* have an upgrade for the best long-range rounds on the market. Also, this is solely a semi-auto rifle; Tippmann hasn't yet shown the love it has for its other products and released an electronic trigger for this marker.Overall Impression: Whether you're a beginner or a vet, this gun will bring a smile to your face. For $200, I highly recommend it for anyone who plays.

Frightening for first time paintballers to see on the field.
Very great magfed paintball gun. I bought this because I’m not a speed ball fan, I love the realism this provides you have to take your shots carefully and not waste them. I can’t complain other than the fact that using field paint thru this is pretty rough. It fires as fast as you can pull. I swapped out the barrel and put a Lapco 15” and it’s has a farther distance before the ball goes haywire. If you buy this and use it in games buy more mags than what you get, you’re going up against people that have 10x the ammo. Best part about the newer ones is you can make it airthru stock rather run a big tank out the grip. Best part, getting on the field and making the competition afraid before the game starts.

This marker is awesome!
I have been playing paintball for over 20 years and I have to say this is my first mag fed marker and it is awesome. The picture with this review does have a few modifications including a aftermarket barrel, but it shoots fine right out of the box. If you’re looking to get into mag fed paintball you can’t go wrong with this marker, it’s a Tippmann and all their markers a bombproof. Tippmann has been around from almost the start of paintball and I have a 98 custom that I’ve been playing with for over 20 years. I may be slowing down but my Tippmann still works great!

$ for $ best marker in market.
Is it better then Empire axe 1 or G Tek ? with out a doubt —- NO, even a hell no.What this delivers is. Price, durability, looks and constituency.I what are the cons. The gun is heavy. Really heavy. Like 5 lbs more then the custom 98. This gun kicks, it’s like shooting a real gun. It’s loud. The major complaint is there is no good place to hold the gun when not playing. The barrels shroud is sharp and clip is on the trigger. Tippman failMy verdict for price point , want that look with durability. Buy.Same price point.Better performance E makBetter value A5 or Custom 98 w/ apex barrel. It’s not a the perfect gun, it a lot fun.

Expensive but Impressive
I really like this model because it’s really sturdy and has decent heft to it. Accuracy is a little more variable than I’d like, but there are so many mods available for this that I’m sure I’ll be able to even it out.

Would give 0 stars for the seller if I could
Amazon package came pristine. The tippman box however looks like it was shot out of a cannon and the flaps pictured are clearly worn and not new. The marker itself was covered in a layer of dust. The threads of the barrel are damaged and visual inspection shows the barrel has screwed in and out prior to arrival. The rear grip finger slots clearly evidence prior usage. The barrel shroud has plastic shavings from being inserted and removed the upper receiver. And the best yet is that the box only contained the dummy mag and not the 2 mags the package clearly states are to be inside.Equally important is the marker is defective. It will not cycle munitions through the carrier. No this is not a magazine issue. I have 2 new ones from tippman. And 1 that fires without issue from my other marker. The charging pin must be actuated every couple shots. Than it shot doubles and finished with a 5-7 round burst. The company that sold this is garbage. This is clearly used and was likely returned due its defective condition. I did not consent to paying full price for a used and defective product. I would stay clear from anything these degenerates have and take my business elsewhere. This is not a review that speaks to the efficacy or lack thereof of tippman products. In my experience I am satisfied with my tippman products and intend to continue their use. This particular marker while not top of the line is more than adequate for its price.
