Orville Redenbacher's SmartPop! Kettle Corn Popcorn, 1.16 Oz, 12 Ct

Nothing amazing about the taste of this popcorn but it is pretty good and I enjoy them, considering it's low calorie, and it helps prevent my cravings and gives me a guilt-free snack to enjoy.I started tracking calories (MFP app) about a year ago and took a slow and steady approach with a good diet and consistent exercise to go from slightly obese to a healthy weight (lost about 35lbs). Since every calorie is meaningful to me, these individual sized popcorn bags have become my go to snack for when I have a craving for potato chips. I love chips. I used to eat entire FAMILY size bags of chips. I just couldn't stop at just a few. Now I microwave one of these bags, and I get a big bowl-full of something to munch on for just 100 calories. I wouldn't consider it particularly healthy, but a much healthier option than junk food snacks.

I love this popcorn. I was raised on homemade popcorn and never got into the microwave popcorn style with all fake butter and other flavorings, but bagged is more convenient for my lifestyle at the moment. This is lightly flavored with a little bit of salt and artificial sweetener (sucralose), which I like. The serving sizes are perfect for one person. Also, you can't beat the price: $3 for 12 servings. I don't know what other reviewers are talking about regarding the kernels not popping. If you use the microwave on timed cook as instructed, until the frequency of popping slows down, it pops the same proportion of kernels as any other kind of popcorn bag (i.e.: most of them). I haven't had problems with burning, either. Occasionally a kernel or two will get scorched, which gives off that horrid smell, but I just throw that kernel away and the rest of the bag is perfect.

It pops very nicely in the bag using a Microwave. Then sprinkle some yeast on it. Yummy!

I did not realize this was lower calorie when I ordered it.. It is ok... not a lot of flavor and the bags are small.. I am not usually a fan of microwave popcorn anyway.. I usually pop my own but wanted this because it is the kettle corn flavor. I ended up adding some butter to it. probably better for me and the smaller bags keeps me from overeating.

Delicious kettle corn in a small 100 calorie portion and convenient. The only problem is that occasionally some of the kernels fail to pop. Fortunately, the hard kernels stay at the bottom of the bag.

Love this so much !! I’ve already purchased it twice.So good for a single serving 4 urself and 4 each member of ur family. Great 4 quality, time doing whatever.Especially in this pandemic we’re all, mostly at home and don’t always have sthg 2 do. Well, STM’s just sitting around talking & munching away is enough. It also helps make time pass faster than u think.U’ll more than enjoy it. It’s not too sweet or under flavored. Not a sugary taste or film on d popped corn like some. This one’s closer 2d kettled corn I got in front of a corn maze event. Also no residue left on ur hands after u reach d bottom of d bag. I especially Love that.Enjoy everyone..

Been buying this Orville's variety for many years because I don't like the greasy feel of too much butter on my hands and fingers. This has almost no greasy feel although the word "butter" is in its name. Will continue to purchase this variety as long as it stays non-greasy.

Tastewise, I absolutely love this popcorn! It has just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming, though I do add a little salt to mine for that sweet and salty flavor.My main issue with these is how many kernels go un-popped. Around 6 grams of kernels in every bag don't pop. I've even tried putting them back in the microwave in a paper bag to see if maybe putting them in longer would help. Around ⅓ of those pop after another minute or so in the microwave, but the rest are duds.While it's normal for some kernels not to pop, I feel like a lot more in these are duds compared to other brands like Jolly Time's Healthy Pop.
