One of the greatest inventions on Amazon!! I bought a 05 Chevy Colorado to drive to work and was told by a guy at the parts house it held 6 quarts of oil. I changed the oil and afterwards realized 6 quarts was too much and then looked it up online and sure enough it only holds 5. I was dreading crawling back under the truck to drain all the oil back out of it. Looked on Amazon and found this and I love it!! It works perfectly and pulled that extra quart of oil right up through the dipstick.

I bought this to inject gear oil into the rear gear box of my scooter, which was a messy and inexact process before. Now it's awesome. I measure exactly what I want into this syringe, stick it into the fill hole (I removed the plastic tubing), and push. Done in one minute with no oil on the floor or on me!The unit can be little difficult to pull open before use, but I suspect it's because the seal is so tight. On the other hand, it doesn't leak at all when I'm using it, the inconvenience is hardly worth mentioning.

Bought to use in a Power steering flush... DO NOT PURCHASE FOR THAT! They both failed miserably, not that that was their initial build intent, but I figured they could survive for a quick 5 minute job.... THEY WILL NOT! They will seize full of power steering fluid... Its not pretty.I'm going to pitch that for anything automotive, search elsewhere.

I use this to make my own honey straws. The vendors I've found online for honey straws all have added sugar or something "extra" in theirs. I know bee keepers in my city so I can buy honey without the extra additives. The particular straws I have fit the tubing of this syringe perfectly and the whole thing takes apart easily when you're ready to wash it.

I use this for water changes in small aquariums. Works like a dream and saves a lot of struggling. The tubing comes in handy as well.

I bought this to evacuate the old brake fluid from my master cylinder reservoir. I cut the hose that came with it to about 1'. It sucked the old brake fluid out flawlessly. One nice thing about using this for the job, is that there are no drips. The syringe holds the fluid perfectly until you put it in a waste container. The volume of the syringe is nice too.
