Overview*NOTE: This product is meant to be used with a vacuum cleaning machine.Mobile Fidelity PLUS Enzyme Cleaner for all Vinyl LPs is a revolution in record cleaning! PLUS uses enzymes to more completely clean records than virtually any other fluid available. Most sound degrading contaminants found on records are organic in nature, oils and sweat from hands, skin, hair and other minuscule particles of dust are attracted by electrostatic charges on the vinyl and can become deeply embedded in the vinyl. The best way to remove these is with an enzyme specifically designed for this purpose. By coating the play surface with PLUS Enzyme Cleaning Fluid and allowing it to sit on the record surface for 3-5 minutes, the enzymes will break the particles down and loosen them from the grooves. Highly purified, high surface tension water is used as the base for PLUS - water that will bead up, removing contaminants and holding them in the water beads, rather than allowing them to settle back into the grooves. Using PLUS is a revelation, even on a clean record, the improvement is shocking. Drastically lower noise floor, increased dynamic range, richer tonal balance and clear undistorted peaks. Put simply, PLUS reveals more of the information that's been hiding in the grooves.

So So
This product helped to reduce pops/noise. But is certainly did not work miracles. I did find that using the product and a little scrubbing with a vinyl brush it took out more of the noise but on its own the Enzyme solution helped only a little.I first cleaned the LPs with a Spin Clean disk cleaning system. So most of the dirt was already removed. Was hoping the enzyme might do an even more thorough cleaning. It cleaned it some but the improvement was minimal. I planned to use it on worst cases where the Spin clean did get the job done. So I am asking a lot. But it isn't cheap so I expected a lot. So would I recommend it? A weak yes, It is worth having around for really tough to clean records. Some records just need all the help they can get. This enzyme gives you another level cleaning to use.

This Stuff Is Really Good
I don't know why this record cleaner has got bad reviews. This stuff works really well. The key to having success with this is to let it soak for about 5 minutes before vacuuming off. You should always rinse with distilled water afterwards. I will be buying more of this after I run out.

Don't waste your money
I'm a big fan of mofi products- but the enzyme cleaner does nothing. I've used it now on dozens of LPs with no noticeable effect. Stick with the other mofi cleaners

Mobile Fidelity record cleaner
I have to say that this product is by far the worst I have ever used. I own approx. 3000 lp's and have used many cleaners, including as a last resort a few drops of dawn dish detergent in a bottle of water. the results?? don't waste your money on this product, VPI record cleaner solution, (as terrible as that is for cleaning) is better, but even that does not remove oils or residue as well as just plain old Dawn dish detergent. I own a VPI Record Cleaning Machine, and after trying every record cleaner I could find, and spending way more money then i should have, I now mix my own with just dawn and bottled water, make sure you re clean the record with clear bottled water afterwards to make sure no soap residue is left. you will see that even finger prints are easily removed. now it is not perfect but until someone sends me a sample bottle of record cleaning solution that is, I am done wasting my money on them.
