It ate my new tapes until I cleaned the mode switch, something most people would not attempt. I doubt they tested it before they sent it.

NICE VCR, HAS TUNER
I got this vcr from a seller at a very cheap price and it was very clean and looks great! I have the old tvs and needed to tune in cable channels, and this works great! Thanks Amazon for having this at such a wonderful price!
