I have been working on my knife set and I have bought a few Hoshanhos and a couple other brands. The Hoshanho is pretty good but so far, My mom pulled it out of the box first, I told her to be careful it looked razor sharp. She barely touched the blade but she doesn't know how to do it gently enough. She nicked herself and drew blood, that's never happened before. This thing is shaaaarp!!! I'm impressed and the price is on point. I slice potatoes often and with this it doesn't even feel like your cutting a potato. If you want an incredibly sharp and we'll balanced cleaver this will not disappoint!

Extremely sharp. Bought this to process my meat birds just to make the process as quick as possible for them.. Needed sharpening throughout as I processed 9 girls start to finish..should have bought 2!!! Easy dispatch which made me feel better that the cuts were quick and clean. Nice handle. De-bones an entire bird with ease. Haven't tried it on fish yet, but that will be my next use.

This Dragon Riot clever is well made and it looks good. It’s the right weight and the right size. It was sharp right out of the box. It was a great purchase.

I've been in the meat smoking community for quite some time, and I was really needing a knife. I saw these on Amazon and thought "Wow these look amazing!". Got my knife within 2 days and man is this thing beautiful. The blade is super sharp and slices through meats easily. I highly recommend this knife!!!

Be careful out of box this beauty was razor sharp💯‼️. Was deskinning a turkey breast for smoker moving quick and just barely poked my opposing index finger and she bit me…high end knife for sure

Literal finger slicer! The spine tang is exposed and not finished what do ever on either knife. Going to have to file it down to use it or it will cut you becuase it cut me! The handles aren't even the same! The large one is lighter in color, and smooth like G10. The small one is darker and grippy like micarta. Terrible quality control Update: seller reached out to make it right. I sanded down the rough edges and the different handles isn't that big of deal to me so I'm going keep them becuase the steel is beautiful and razor sharp.

Well worth the money. Good quality, sharp as hell, and useful in nearly every situation. It is a little awkward to use, but that is just unfamiliarity with using this shape of knife

It is very sharp and has kept an edge well with basic maintenance. As you can see, it cuts paper fairly easily leaving a clean cut behind. It is comfortable in the hand and has a nice heft without being too heavy.
