Bummer !! I bought these as an add on to a larger set that I already knew worked with my existing set of magna tiles ..... I was disappointed then we opened these this morning (Christmas morning - outside of the return window :( ) and they have a little lip on them which makes building with the two sets (even the same brand) impossible because the sizes are just a LITTLE off ..... these clear ones look so cool but they are now out of our set and set aside because the don’t work with the others ....

I have tried 6 brands of magnetic tiles: Play Mags; Picasso; Shape Mags; Stick and Stack; Mag Genius; and Crossy. 1. Play Mags has the strongest magnets and are durable. I bought the other brands to get specific sizes and shapes. 2. Picasso has adequate magnets and more base plate sizes. Taller buildings require large pieces. Well packaged. 3. Shape Mags has adequate magnets and the widest array of shapes. 4. Magnetic Stick and Stack appears to be Shape Magnates packaged by individual shape or other accessory groupings. 5. The Crossy clear set has good magnets, but its single layer interior web appears weaker than double layers. They make good windows and compliment single color designs. 6. Mag Genius have weak magnets. I would not buy their base plates again.(I use two 7"x14" clear acrylic file holders as storage bins.)

I use these for fun activities to build spatial thinking and visualization skills with adults who have experienced stroke or TBI. The most popular task is to recreate forms of increasing complexity with the model presented in a photo,(easiest) line drawing or diagram (hardest). The transparency of the tiles helps give clues while requiring the builder use good figure-ground discrimination and be able to visualize the completed form in his or her mind

I love how the simplicity of this open-ended toy inspires my children to create. In contrast to similar toys, the value is amazing! The pieces are large and surprisingly durable! Aesthetically, I personally really appreciate that they offer a clear “ice” option. This is a great toy!

I've ordered many sets of these for my 5 year old. He loves to build condominiums, dinosaur corrals, mansions... the list goes on. This is one of my favorite low tech toys for kids. And bonus... these hurt waaaaaay less than Legos if you step on them.

I bought this to expand our collection of magnetic blocks. Works perfectly with our magna-tiles. The only difference is that the design on these shapes is external/relief and therefore not smooth like magna-tiles. Does not impact the function of blocks. Just an aesthetic difference. Quality magnets, and so much fun for my entire family. I will be buying these again.

I bought two sets for my kids! They are compatable with the magna tiles we have. The more pieces I buy the taller our towers get!

I was skeptical about the transparent Magnatiles price (and how many triangles were included) so we tried these. They work great -- perhaps even stronger than Magnatiles themselves. My kids love using them for special parts of their structures -- they are the VIPs of our collection. I've since ordered two more sets to keep the peace. These are a great value and highly recommended.
