Awesome hat! And a good fit too! I bought one as Gift 🎁 for my Daddy. And He just loves it! I chose to get the rechargeable version; and it’s SUPER BRIGHT💡it lasts for quite a while on one charge. He’s in his late 50’s now and has to use glasses these days but this hat really helps him out A LOT when he’s working/ fiddling with things in the garage, working on projects etc. He even uses it when he plays darts to better illuminate the board—everywhere he looks is just completely illuminated, even from 6-7 feet away! Great price! Perfect gift! Would definitely recommend!

Charging the battery from a usb connection or the supplied usb wall port is straight forward. Having the lights on the bill of the cap projects the light forward. Great for Hiking/Walking. But it does not project the light down as other hats with the lights under the bill. Those types of hats are better for working with your hands in the dark. Understanding that, this appears to be a quality hat that will last the normal life span of any off the shelf hat.

So far (one use), i love this light up hat!!! I wanted to get something to use while walking my dogs at night so I could see what I needed to pick up when they pooped. Works great!! It's comfortable (much more than a regular head lamp that I find awkward due to the extra weight of the light/batteries of the lamp). It also looks much nicer than wearing a headlamp, It's very bright. It's super easy to turn on/off (I didn't want a light on the entire walk - just when i needed to pick up their droppings). Easy to recharge. Glad I read that the switch on the battery needs to be flipped on AND the button in the cap brim needs to be pressed for the light to work. Love that it's rechargeable. Hope the battery lasts a long time. Great price too!! Can't think of any downsides except maybe it cannot be washed when it gets dirty?

The light won’t work after 2 months

For the first 2 weeks this hat was great. I only had to recharge it 3 times and the light was real bright.Unfortunately after charging it this last time the connector from the battery to the bulbs will not make a solid connection and the light is very dim. If I wiggle and twerk it I can get it to fully light but I have to hold both the connector and the battery box.I'm not sure if it's the male or female connector or a bad solder point on the leads in the battery box. If it's a bad solder I may be able to fix it but if it's one of the connectors it can not be repaired.

Cap keeps my hands free to handle my dog and the LED lights on brim keep us both safe! Easy to recharge the lights. Perfect!
