This is my first time using powdered rose. I’ve used it in face masks and it’s incredible! It makes my skin softer and radiant. (I tried using it in dessert and wasn’t as successful, mostly because I didn’t know how much to use. It tasted gritty but looked and smelled nice.)

This rose powder smells absolutely divine, like something gifted to me by some ancient goddesses instead of delivered by the Amazon man. The little 2oz packet is excellently priced and will go far, I used just a little to make a mask and barely put a dent in the bag. For full on rose power, I used some rose water to mix mine into a mask and spread that burgundy mess all over my face and oh my was it heavenly. An absolute mess because I didn’t get the mix quite right (more liquid required!) but SO worth it. Next time I’ll use some yoghurt and maybe a little honey to make the mask and I think it’ll be a little less messy. As I let the mask dry, I could feel a light tingle as it tightened and worked away, a slightly fizzy feeling in the skin. When I washed it off, I found my skin to be noticeably brighter, more even, softer and lightly exfoliated - as promised. Using this made me want to try other powders in this range, it was that good.

I rarely write reviews, but this Chandan Sandalwood Powder has truly transformed my skin, and I had to share my experience. This is my third packet in a row, and that alone speaks volumes! For a long time, I struggled with extreme acne that was incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable. Let me preface this by telling you that I'm not a picky eater: This was the first time I've ordered something like this so I didn't really know what to expect. It turned my sweet cream cheese brown (because the powder is brown), which was fine, but when I tasted it, it had a VERY slight lemon flavor and a VERY bitter taste. It was disgusting! I threw what I'd made away, along with the rest of the powder and remade the sweet cream cheese with a splash of real lemon juice instead.

Love the soft scent of this sandalwood powder.

Worked very well with the turkey. Mixed it with the brine I made and it was very lemony, very nice flavour too, highly recommend, especially making your own brine.

I was looking for a replacement of fresh lemon zest for cakes, desserts and things like fish pie. This product is in my view not suitable for that. The powder tastes sour and bitter, but I couldn't taste the lemon flavour I was looking for.
