My fiancé makes cooking videos for Instagram - @baroqueplates - and this is the only ring light he will use! No others adjust in all of the ways he needs to get the perfect angle, only this one. We had the last one for over a year and a half, maybe even 2 years, and after HEAVY use a small piece of plastic broke during a rough/quick adjustment - considering how often he uses it, and the fact that it is near the stove, constantly pushed around the counter, and with hands covered in oil or food, it’s pretty awesome that it lasted as long as it did! Rather than just supergluing it, I ordered a second one since it’s very reasonably priced and I didn’t want him to have to worry about it. I was really happy to see that they replaced the bottom of the stand with hard plastic, as it was a kinda foam material before that couldn’t be easily wiped. So this seller is clearly updating and improving their item over time! It’s the perfect size, light and color options are great, and easy to control. Highly recommend!

Pros: for a first timer on social media this works so easy. It’s cheaper than others on the market so you cannot be mad at that. There are two color options i went with black to safe. The ring light is bigger than i expected it comes with a remote to dim the light if wanted. There are also two areas to clip your phone on inside the ring light and another below. The pole extends and becomes shorter which is great so the stand won’t show when I’m recording.Cons: the clip for the phone is not the smoothest to clip on and off. The stand will tip over when the arm is extended so I have to place a weight on the stand pad to prevent it from tipping. I do wish it was sturdier in that sense. I do also which it was a bit brighter.Overall it’s still a great buy for a first time ring light purchase and get the job done.

I discovered after using this let a few times that the USB is overheating severely in the wall plug it is connected to. I've tried other items in that plug without issue, so the light itself is the issue. It does not come with a plug for the USB to plug into and no instructions regarding the type or amps of plug to use safely.
