This is one of the best purchases i have made. it fits Makita batteries perfectly and runs well on these. I can clean my entire 2500 sq foot house with a single charge of a 5a Makita battery. it has excellent suction, the head is well sealed to the ground to create a good vacuum. works exceptionally well on solid surfaces, however it sucks too strong on throw rugs and sucks this up and "clogs" this is not a big deal for me but something to consider. the low power mode sucks about as well as most other stick vacuums i have tried, the high power mode is MUCH better than any i have purchased. It is obviously not quite as "sturdy" as the $1000 plus Dysons or Samsung stick vacuums, but if you already have batteries this is a much more utilitarian alternative and works just as well.

This vacuum is great, exactly as described in the listing. It's well built and lightweight, has great suction power and is easy to empty and carry on cleaning. I always have plenty of Dewalt batteries charged up, so it's just awesome to be able to use those instead of having another proprietary battery/charger to deal with. It has 3 settings for different suction powers, our wood floors clean great on even the lowest setting. Battery life is excellent with 6AH flex volt batteries, I can just about clean our entire 2500 sq ft house with one. You really can't go wrong with this vacuum if you already have batteries to fit it. Highly recommended.

This 350W cordless vacuum works with Milwaukee M18 batteries and is great for everyday cleaning. It has strong suction (35 kPa), feels lightweight, and is easy to handle. With 3 power modes and a HEPA filter, it works well on floors, carpets, and even in the car. The 6-in-1 design makes it super versatile around the house.

I bought the Milwaukee model. It works with every size battery I have - including the M18 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 9.0, 12.0 and even the 12.0 Forge. For the best runtime and weight anything between a 5.0 and 9.0 is ideal, but all the batteries do work. The vac will also shut down when the batteries drain WITHOUT killing the battery with low voltage. The M18 chargers will still charge the batteries after use - so it has low voltage protection built in which was my main concern. The vac itself is as good or maybe a little better than my Wyze stick vac. Buying this just made sense since I already own at least a dozen M18 batteries. It'll easily pick up pet hair and even dust off a hardwood or hard surface floor. It works on carpet but obviously you're not replacing a decent corded vac with this for rugs. My only concern is consumable parts - like the air filter. None seem to be available - the seller gave me some nonsense that they would be available soon, and offered to send me some free replacement accessory parts if I kept the vac. I never heard from them again. Still - it's a decent and convenient vac now that I can do most of my home without waiting for recharges or spending another $80 for an additional proprietary battery for the $120 Wyze vacuum that came with a battery. Dyson killer? Yea I dunno about that - and if owned a $700 - $800 cordless stick vac I wouldn't be buying this to begin with looking to replace it. Id just buy the battery adapter to use M18 batteries on a Dyson. Long Story short - if you have a pile of tool batteries sitting around - so far this seems like a worthy purchase - but don't expect much in terms of customer support.

Great sweeper. This sweeper is lightweight, durable and has great power for suction. It is so easy to grab this sweeper for all quick messes but it also will do great for sweeping the whole room. The battery life for this is awesome and does not fizzle out mid cleaning. There are 3 different speeds and it also comes with all the tools to use for little spaces and high to reach spaces.

Very strong suction and good product

I am very impressed with this vacuum, the suction power is great on the lowest level it picks up Dogfood, dead flies and dog hair with no problem. With my 5amp battery it lasts about 1hr which I can vacuum my clients place without stopping and having to plug it in. It is great to beable to switch out batteries if I have to. I would highly recommend this to any House Cleaner it's been a game changer for me :)

I bought the new and improved Makita DCL286 first and had to return it due to poor suction performance, small cyclone canister and clogging of tube. This vacuum seems to have far better suction, comes with more accessories ( power head and wall hanging bracket ) has a larger basket, easier to clean, filtration seems better ( purely observational ), and doesnt have that stupid o-ring that falls into the garbage when emptying the canister. I would recommend this over any of the Makita stick vacs. My main use for this is the Gym/ workshop, and it has been a pleasure to use so far. 1 star deducted for its length, being 6'1" its a bit short and requires some slouching to use. If I have longer term issues i will update this, but i don't forsee any problems

Fantastic. Super good vac for the price. Since Milwaukee sells various sizes of battery packs I cannot complain about the vac eating batteries like other reviewers have said. Using a 2ah battery versus an 8ah battery has no comparison. Use the largest battery you can afford. My 8ah battery will clean my whole 3 bedroom condo twice. A 2ah battery will almost clean it once. The vac quality is surprisingly good. I would buy again.

Best cordless vacuum ever bought lot of power only makes sure you have 2 good dewalt 5 or 6 ah battery and this clean up my house or shop light and easy to use make it a great choice
