Did not realize how badly worn my original head was until I purchased this upgraded replacement. Works so much better. Well worth the investment.

So far so good! Works great with my old V6 Animal. It's a little noisier than the original but does the job. It has great suction and is harder to push on my carpet, but hasn't gotten stuck yet. The hair removal vanes work well too, don't think the original had that feature. I had my original head for about 8 years and the bristles had all worn off, hope this one lasts a long time as well!

roller head doesn't get hair tangeled in it. Quality . Better than the original roller brush that came when I bought the vacuum new.

I compared the original vacuum drive head on our V10 Dyson which we absolutely love with this one and took the time to include pictures for others, including comparative weight/heft in case someone else will find it useful. In summary, the Dyson is better because this replacement head that I ordered does not provide the function to adjust for carpet height. Even with our low-pile carpet area rug its suction pulled down the head drive causing comparatively more effort to vacuum the area rug compared to the Dyson. That being said, it cleaned what dust there was on the carpet, superbly. And, there was no compromise effect on our wood floors. If you have a thicker pile carpet/rug you may struggle with it.But, I am glad that I ordered it because it looks and feels as quality and clicked right into it's vacuum tube receiver on our Dyson and worked. I also weighed them on my postage scale thinking that, often with robustness and durability comes a little more weight. As you can see in the photos, the Dyson (see Dyson trademark on the vacuum head in the photo for reference) is a little bit heavier than this non-original Dyson head, but not that significant. Hoping this helps someone else.

This dis not fit my model but I can’t blame the manufacturer I probably bought the wrong one. I fit my model with a simple modification and so far has worked perfectly. I was hesitant to buy the aftermarket option but I would do it again

I bought this to replace my Dyson V7 vacuum head and it fits nicely. It is just like the original Dyson head and I put it on right out of box. I couldn't tell much of difference between this and the original head when vacuuming the hardwood floors and carpets. I would say this is good replacement.
