Should have bought this pan YEARS ago!!
I followed the directions on the box and cured the pan as soon as I unpacked it. I am so glad I did. I am not sure if that is what did it or not but when I used it for an omelette it did not stick at all!! It came out perfect and better than when I use my stainless steel skillet. It is the perfect depth when I use it for making my home cooked Mexican meals and it heats up evenly throughout. I can't wait to bake in it as well. I like how it keeps the food warm after I have turned off the burner without burning it. The pan is heavy and well made. There were no nicks or uneven edges at all. It cleans up easily and when I wash it I make sure to dry it right away and rub a little olive oil on it so it won't rust. I can see this pan lasting for years and years. I might have to hide it from my daughter when she comes over so she won't take it. Hahaha

Awesome buy!
Sorry guys. I posted a question by accident thinking that the coating was coming off but I just needed to season it again. First time user. Once I seasoned it a few times it works great!! I have cooked in it twice already and have loved it! Great for the price as well! I would buy again!!

Great Cast Iron Skillet
This is a great cast iron skillet. The base of the skillet is solid and thick. I will say that the handle is a bit thin for my liking. I feel that if you were to bump it against the wall or something it would break, but overall the skillet is fantastic!

Nice skillet for ten bucks
I caught a coupon deal and got this skillet. It has a few manufacturing defects - smooth spots- but it works fine. Even though it was preseasoned, I still set the oven to 500°, wiped entire with coconut oil and put it in the oven, upside down on my baking steel. I went through 4-5, 30 minutes cycles, re-oiling each time. It is nicely seasoned now.The company states the oven should be at 350° but I like to get things nice and hot.

My new favorite Skillet!
Received my Rippl skillet a couple weeks ago and have not stopped using it since! The dual sided handles make it so convenient and practical to maneuver especially considering the weight of the pan with the added foods while cooking. Pouring out the savory juices is no problem because this pan has a pouring lip on either side.As a side note the packaging was really nice for the product as well. Would make a great gift for friends or family!

Great product at a great price
Great product at a great price. Another Rippl product in my house. Ice cube trays get my scotch nice and cool to compliment the steak I cook in the cast iron.

Bowed up in the middle
It's not a great pan. The middle of the pan is concaved up so that any oil or liquid pools to the outer edge of the pan. I prefer a flat pan. When I drop an egg into the pan it slides to the outside of the pan, not ideal.

Defective item
Item arrived with major manufacturing defect. One area was melted all the way through and not cast properly. I’m not sure how the return will go in terms of cost due to the weight of the item.
