Syracuse Sausage 3.2 Ounce Irish Style Banger Link, 10 Pound - 1 each.

We have been searching for years to find good Irish bangers in the US. We were both raised eating Wall's, Boyers and numerous other British sausages. There are numerous factors that led to the rating on this product.From the beginngng:The sausages arrived still frozen solid, packed with plenty of dry ice still left inside. There are 10 lbs of sausages, packed in 2 sealed bags. These sausages should be individually quick frozen and then packaged. As it was, we got two 5 lb solid blocks.In order to cook enough for the two of us, I had to break off a few from the end of the block and defrost them. I'm not sure how I am going to break off any more because the remainder is a pretty thick mass.The cooked product is moist, has good flavor and will go well for breakfast or dinner. The problem is that the texture is much coarser than Irish style bangers. The flavor, while good, is also nothing like we are used to.Overall, since the product is described specifically as Irish style, I cannot give a higher rating. Short of defrosting the remaining sausages, separating them andcre-freezing them in portion sized freezer bags, I'm not sure what I can do.At the very least, I would suggest packaging in maximum 1 lb bags. There aren't too many households that will be able to use 5 lbs st a time.

They are not bad sausages (a little fatty), but not Irish style.
