Q: What's different between old and new versions of Vet Kem sold on this page?

As far as we know the active ingredients have not changed. PRN Pharmacal recently acquired Vet Kem and has begun outer label changes and will no longer be using the Ovitrol and Siphotrol names.

Q: Will this treat dog lice?

You can't put it on dogs. They say it treats carpeting for fleas.

Q: How long does the residual remain effective?

Once this product is dry, I don't feel any residue remaining. It is supposed to be safe to contact the space that was sprayed after it is dry. You do not have to spray heavily or saturate the area for it to be effective, so it dries rather quickly.
