You would need to be stiring very thin pens to get full use of this, it's not very generous with material, so you fill one row and the second row becomes an extremely tight fit.Having said that, I've used the back row for shaping tools and the front door sculpting tools.The side pockets are a good size, got some armature wire and a hand held vice in there.It's a dense material, quite starched and stiff at first but loosens up. The stitching is neat
