I was going to splurge on a herman miller chair because I couldn't find anything comfortable for my size. I'm only 5 ft tall and have back issues. I went to try out the chairs at staples and was surprised that this one is perfect. Leans back smoothly and locks tilted thats the most important thing because that is the only position my back does not hurt and I can actually touch the floor at the lowest setting. I ordered from staples and it was $100 cheaper than amazon.

Pros:This is a nice, well built chair. It has a bit of heft to it (especially the seat portion). Reasonably comfortable for extended periods although you tend to slide a bit forward over time+ Seat can be slide forward or back+ Arm rest can be adjusted vertically, forward/backward and rotated in/out+ Seat back can be adjusted vertically+ Seat back can recline and recline can be locked at any angle+ Seat height can be adjusted vertically+ Reasonable built-in lumbar supportCons:- Cost - This is way overpriced for the features offered- Does not provide a seat "tilt" function even though some descriptions indicate that it does. Seat tilt is the ability to move the front edge of the seat up or down so that you don't feel like you are going down a slide. The seat angle is fixed and in my opinion dips down a little too much in the front- Does not provide a tensioner for the seat-back recline feature. In other words, as you lean back in the chain you ideally want to set the tension such that you don't go flying backward. More importantly, you want the tension to be somewhat neutral so that as you start to recline, it will hold you at whatever position you stop at. This chair's recline tension is fixed, is somewhat loose, and cannot be adjusted.
