good until about a year out. Twice.
I got these in Feb of 2019 after comparing a ton of headphones under $200. I loved them when I got them, they fit over my ears, a tough call when you have stretched lobes. I was happy, they were comfortable. About 10 months in they just stopped charging. After a lot of back and forth I managed to get Urbanista to send me a new pair because they were under a year old. I figured this was just a faulty pair or something.Nope. About another year later (today) a similar thing is happening. The light says it's charging but it won't turn on even after a whole night of charging. A month or so ago the volume controls also died out but I was still able to use it. I'm in a small apartment and with covid both myself and my partner basically live in our headphones in order to do our jobs. I'm not looking forward to the next day or so of hunting down a new pair.I really loved the basic design on these, they were comfortable and met my needs for meetings, podcasts, and music. I'm pretty upset how hard thesee crashed on me.

Stay away if you want some bass and life
Muddy bass means is easily overwhelmed by even the slightest bit of deep house music. Lower tones juts n distorted as the cans attempted to recreate the sound musicians wanted. They definitely underperform in lively music in general. But the main take away was they'd not terrible for that casual listener. The ones that listen podcasts or audio books maybe even some popular music and top 40 or maybe 70's music. They will suffice. But if you want real quality sound and performance. This is not the way to go

Abysmal quality headphones, devious marketing but fancy box, if that matters at all.
These headphones are garbage, don't buy them. The Bluetooth is low quality and the audio is like a radio from the 60's (on windows the audio quality bracket is marked as "FM Radio Quality"), the microphone is bad even in a slight breeze for any calls you take and there is a bizarre beeping sound any time you operate anything on the device, or on the device connected to it. For example when changing apps on an iPhone, it will beep, every volume segment, when the song changes and even when you unlock your phone for some ungodly reason. I thought the cable connection was better but I noticed the wire will hold its shape so it's difficult and unweilding to use/travel with. The charging cable is tiny and ridiculous and the bag barley fits the headphones into them. I've had them for a reasonable amount of time hoping they would get better and I could be able to ignore these side effects but now the right ear cup has a loose connection at some angles and will blast static in my ear at random intervals at full volume. They're difficult to fold away and are somehow easier to transport when unfolded. I really hoped they would be good headphones and I believed the marketing and people I contacted with my problems but I am fed up with them and its not too late to do anything about it now. Sennheiser's Bluetooth headphones are cheaper and better, go and get them for the love of god!

Slick Style with great sound!
Very happy with this purchase. A great pair of headphones that delivers not only good sound but style. Comes with a nice canvas case as well as adaptors. Even though itβs wireless itβs got a quality weave cable with solid volume clicker.Sound wise- very impressed!! The sound has solid deep bass whilst maintaining clarity through the mids and highs. I find they layer the sound well.Fit - i find them light and really comfortable over the ear. Nice to wear all day at work and more over break the norm with its slick style.

Seems to be a general fault with this model and brand
This is the second pair of Urbanista New York I've had, and the fault's the same - intermittent sound from the right ear. A shame because, when working, the headphones sound, look and feel good. Something for Urbanista to sort out, I think. I also had a pair of Urbanista's Seattle model, which developed a fault with the touch controls.Sadly looks like it might be a case of style over quality for this brand

Comfy, but flimsy
Really comfy, however after a month of use browsing and watching YouTube, I developed a habit of listening with one cup and putting the other behind my ear, when I was just walking around in my house listening to music, at the end of July (I bought mine on 27th June) I noticed it was getting looser and saw that there was a LARGE crack where the headband connected to the speaker cup and I had to Gorrila Glue it back together. Other than that they are good, I don't know if I got a weaker one than normal or what not, But that is my opinion

They don't look stupid in plain black
Great product for a good price. Inpaid β¬150 for mine through amazon and i think theyre as good as the Bose ones my friend has. That said, i only use them for watching movies or listening to music on flights so the sound quality is not that important to me.
