I bought the 48 inch crate for my 84 pound chocolate lab for an Air France flight Washington DC to Paris. It was accepted with no discussion. It has all that was asked, I just had to remove the wheels which are super easy to place and remove as they slide in (don’t push them all the way). Holes present for zip ties placing.I was scared of the door mechanism but in the end it worked perfectly.My dog is 40 inch long, the crate was the great size for her comfort. She could lay down and sit upright. Plus he crate made it undamaged which I guess is probably a combination of good material but also careful handling by airport personnel.Full metal bolts and Additional bolts were included just in case which is appreciated.

Seems very durable and our 80 lb lab fit comfortably in it. Easy to put together, door can be installed either direction, and it has handles and wheels to help wheel it around at the airport.

I just received this yesterday just in time for an 11 hour road trip. I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy and well crafted it was. Easy to put together. The ones I found in my local pet store were flimsy and felt cheap so I didn’t feel she would be comfortable or safe. My pup is a chocolate lab that just turned 1 and is 70lbs. She loves to spread out so this size was perfect. The sizing recommendations were spot on, thank you. I measured my SUV height and my dog per the recommendations. It took her about 20 mins to get use to it, but then she immediately got comfortable. I simply left it out on the floor of my living room and let her investigate and sniff so then telling her to go in it was a breeze. Great product, I would definitely recommend!

Decent quality of plastic but the box came all crushed and barely sealed. It is pretty heavy but can be easily moved since it comes with removable wheels. It can also be portable if the top half is removed. Has everything needed for airlines, which is why I chose it. Has 2 handles at the top. Comes with 2 food/water bowls for the inside of the kennel. My pup is very comfortable in it. Doesn't have a mat at the bottom which is fine because my pup gets too warm with mats/beds. The plastic clips around comes off easily, but it is also easily attached back into position. Also comes with metal hardware for air travel.

This carrier was great for the airport. Met all the requirements and it was actually much larger than I needed. The wheels were a great touch to make it easy to get around town. It also came with the live animal stickers.

We purchased this and used it once for a three hour flight when we got it off the plane the wheel was broken. We sent it back and replaced it with the same one and the same thing happened. Used it once and when they returned it to us at the end of the flight, one of the wheels had broken off. So either we received two defective crates or it’s a manufacture defect that needs to be addressed,

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ordered two crates, the medium for my Mainecoon cat and the XXXL for my dog. I went by airline measurements to size to the interior dimensions of the crate- I didn’t use Sports pets charts as it would not have been adequate for international flights. Smaller crate is great, and the XXXL would be perfect except that the door latch is jammed. It’s been a week and still no response to my email to their help center. I can’t find a phone number to call them. I will update if and when they call back. Not sure yet what I can do as it’s out of stock now on Amazon, and I’m flying in a short time (military move) so I may have to return and get something elsewhere. I like the design of this crate but again just need them to get me a door for the XXXL Crate that works.UPDATED: My original email to customer service was responded to in a timely fashion however it had gone into spam at first. Thankfully when I reached out via facebook, they were able to help quickly and help me find that email. They did not have a replacement door readily on hand at that particular location, so Lisa from Customer service worked hard with their warehouses to make sure a replacement part was sent out to me. She emailed me almost everyday to give me an update and as soon as she had shipment tracking data she emailed me that as well. New door should arrive in another day or so, and with a non defective door latch this should be an excellent crate.The one note I will add is the XXL crate will not fit through a standard door frame fully assembled, and you will need a large vehicle for it to go in fully assembled. Just a heads up, as it really is that mammoth!
