Boom! That screen is stunning
I’ve been running Arch on everything for years, so when I needed a new laptop I went straight for this ASUS because of that OLED screen. Out of the box it’s stunning: colours pop, blacks are proper black, and the brightness makes everything from code to late-night movies look incredible. Plugged in a USB stick, let the kernel do its thing, and boom—no hiccups. Wi-Fi, trackpad, keyboard, sleep/resume, even the function keys for brightness and volume just worked. Zero tinkering, flawless compatibility right from the start. If you're on Arch and want a screen that doesn't quit, this is your pick. Highly recommended. Minor (very minor) grumble was the lack of a dedicated ethernet port, it would have been useful in my situation but can be easily achieved with a usb adapter.

Pretty fast but question mark over quality.
Pretty fast. I'm not a computer nerd so it's difficult for me to give a in depth review. The first one I had the screen didn't work so there is a question mark over the quality already. I spent a day of my time thinking I must have done something wrong and followed all the advice. Fortunately I was able to connect it to another monitor and found out it was just the screen at fault but I will never get my day back. Time is precious at my age and it was a bit of a nightmare to be honest. I couldn't fault Amazon as they had a replacement here the very next day and the new laptop was easy enough to set up but I still lost another day doing that but it was a lot less stressful this time.

Good Laptop
I purchased the AI 7 350 with 32GB version and 860M graphics. The laptop looks well made, light and stylish, with a large responsive trackpad and decent keyboard for typing on. I tested it on Excel, PowerBI, Rimworld, and Factorio. Full marks for the CPU, its somewhere around what I would expect on a modern i7 desktop. The laptop graphics (860M) are good enough to play non-AAA titles at 1080p maximum settings. For AAA titles with decent 1080p settings and a playable amount of FPS, you`ll be reliant on frame generation which this laptop has. I have not tested this. The only criticism I have at this point is in performance mode the fans are noisy, but for the price range, its acceptable.
